don't add it to the header.php! add it on where you need it on ur include/template/
ex: main.tpl [go to the part where you see the beginning, put them with in the <head> part]
if you don't put the script in the <head> part, the script will not run.

set three different group, one group see all, other see one part, and the other see another part, the only problem is that i am aware of is that u can have differnt defaul skin for each skin, [i am not sure] but if they do, ur in luck

i have also used other software before i start using punbb. i guess the main reason is that Invision Power Board was starting to stop free version of it, i started looking for a new software. at first i start using punbb, but i did not want to registrate yet, guess to keep my mind, open. Later i start liking this software, and end up join the forum.
Well there are disadvantages, but the disadvantage can be solve by asking some one to make a new mod. 
[well, the follow software suggest to u by hcgtv, is ok, however, don't expect that u are going to get what u want there. Most mods have not gone as advance as punbb, and some of them are intergration]
and the final advantage for punbb: it is easy to modify.

well since connorhd is still running on 1.2.5, if i last remember, it shouldn't be a problem, add subforums, try it on versions higher, it works, but the chances of error is high.

or you could list all list all the countrys, when registrating and then you could do such a thing, lots of coding, and high chance of going wrong.
i guess i have a better chance of me giving every member a blog (like ipb 2) then what u are attemping to do, and make sure i goes perfectly well and no one is cheating the system

I agree. This constant attention is definitely a good thing, even though it shows how lazy I am. My Punbb is a franken 1.5 beast with various security patches applied by hand. I am still procrastinating a proper update until 1.3, as I know I'll have to rewrite a bunch of my forum anyway.

Welll, i guess we will need to start 2.0.0 sooner then later.
If richark is not going to start overhauling punbb, at least week can try make some obvious flaws to jump to 1.3.0

No? Welll can't u just change a few codes.... u can congfigerate instead of going into the sql to see if u are a admin or user, to just input user. Then wouldn't u hide it?

Well, on invision it can crop it down using lost of code. But the disadvantage of this is that it can't not enlarge 2X is size, and can't strink 3X properly.
So, I prefer modifying before uploading.
[If u have the old invison codes, it can be worth to take a look.]
