New Version Multi-Forum v1.0 RC2 Released.

Hi Fil1958,

This is not a bug my friend. Thats how the first release was coded. Nice urls feature will be implemented in new version of Multi-Forums, not now though. Gotah exterminate all the bugs in the script first

P.s. Could you tell me how you are trying to bookmark? I can provide a temp solution.

Thanks Fil1958 for reporting that bug, i'll work on it, and when finished, i'll release it in RC2.

Im not sure, exactly what the cause of the error. But this should fix the error:

Open /upload/vars.php and Find the following lines:

die('<html><body><head><title>ERROR - Run Instalation File First!</title></head><br /><p align="center"><font face="Verdana" size="5" color="#009933">Run <b>install.php</b> to install Multi-Forum Mod</font></p></body></html>');

and Delete that line of code.

Save the file and re-upload to your server and visit: http://www.your-domain.com/forums/install.php (E.g. URL)

It should work, if it doesnt, please let me know

Thanks Mark for clearing things out. I finally get this GPL thing and you are correct, i am not creating a pluggin, instead im making a "MOD" for the punbb script. Also, im not making a list of someone else code, instead im making a MOD that has the same concept of someone else who orignally made it for a different forum software.

Im 70% complete and would like to release it for free (under GPL thingy). Cant wait ^_^;

Buts thats not right. This is a corupt in the GPL licencing system. I just dun get it.

Why should someone resell my script without my permission? isnt that piracy?

I been working on a mod that is very useful to everyone who uses punbb. So, i was wondering, once the mod is complete, im i allowed to seel the mod?

hello,

how about a mod/script/feature or something to host unlimited forums from just one installation of punBB?

i have the server for it and i'd like my college mates to take advantage of this great forums to setup their own forums for each person from one instalation of punbb.

You know, how multi-forums was done for phpbb and ipb?

if someone can create this, i bet my ass on it that it will become popular very quickly!!
