I´m trying to change my webhost at the moment but I do encounter some problems with the migration of the mysql database.

From MySQL 4.1.15 to target MySQL 4.0.24 ("downgrade" that is)

I´ve managed to export/import my database to my new host...When I export from MySQL 4.1.15 (the old host) I simply choose compability mode MYSQL40, otherwise it won´t work in MySQL 4.0.24 (the new host). So far so good...but when I try to post a new thread/topic I get the following error message:

Database reported: Duplicate entry '0' for key 1 (Errno: 1062)"



When I try to answer someones thread I get the following error message:

Database reported: Duplicate entry '0' for key 1 (Errno: 1062)



The things I´ve tested to solve the problem is:
*repair database
*db management tool
*Rebuild search index via administrationpanel.
*Fresh installed copy of punBB

So is there anyone with sql knowledge? My knowledge is about "0" big_smile

Is it possible to add the latest registerd user in the index.php when using miniportal. If so..please tell me how. I´ve managed to change the code in forum.php file like this:

Pogenwurst...sorry for posting in the wron category...your right it´s statistics for the entire site I´m looking for, not punBB only so you did the right thing to move it. I´ll have a look later on today at the BBClona and AWStats. Thanx alot!

I´m using the miniportal and it´s great but how can I change how links are open in the pun_news fuction.

Let´s say I´m posting something like "bla bla" and a link "traden" and it shows up properly in the index.php (so far so good) The problem is that the link opens in _blank but I want it to open in the same window. Any ideas how to solve this?

I´m using this line in mod_topicpreview.php Is it possible to change so when I click the <a href="viewtopic.php?pid='.$cur_t ....in the same window and not _blank?

I´ve spent alot of time in front of my computer and here are the result. The swedish Counter-Strike:source forum has got a major facelift. Thanks to "ross3093" at http://www.punres.org/viewtopic.php?id=830 for the style (even if I´ve modded it slightly) Have a look at http://cssforumet.frac.dk

Do anyone have this problem with chatbox?

Let´s say you write a message (this message) "Hi, my name is Thomas and you?" You hit the send button and "woala" the line "Hi, my name is Thomas and you?" is included in the chat...so far so good. Okey let´s say you want to update the chatwindow now...you could do this in three diffrent ways...first is to hit the update button below the chat window and it works great no problems...but when you hit the refresh button in your browser or F5 there´s a message that the site "contains data that will be posted again"...this means that the line "Hi, my name is Thomas and you?" is going to be added everytime you hit refresh in your browser...shouldn´t there be some kind of "clearer" of this messeage field when you send the data? Hopefully you understand what I mean wink

I don´t now if this is a bug or if it has been posted before, anyhow here goes.

I´ve noticed if you start a new topic let´s say it´s called "Hello" and the message is "Hello" You type it and then hit Submit and then back (in your browser that is) and then Submit again and then back again...bla bla and so on.

I´m using the miniportal and it would be really nice if I can add the 20 most active users in the top of my forum.php How do I do that? I´ve tried to just copy/paste the code further up in the forum.php file but I only get the result that everything below the pasted code disapers.

I also tried this in the viewtopic.php file...copied and pasted the moste 20 active users code and it now shows/works1. How come it doesn´t work in the forum.php file?

Well a question came up as I was looking into the index.php (using miniportal) At the end there is a line "echo pun_news(16);" I´m no programmmer what so ever but is it possible to do something like this:

Put it inside a table?

<table>
echo pun_news(16);
</table>

or

...inside divs?

<div>
echo pun_news(16);
</div>

I´ve noticed that it doesn´t work if I do as above...

My webhost is www.frac.dk and that is probably were the problem is...I will try to upload the site to another host and see if it works there? Any suggestions of a good free webhoster?

I´m also trying to add data from the extern.php into main.tpl...but I don´t really get it....tried the search function all evning but I´m really stuck on this one...plz help me.

For example I would like to add this to my miniportal http://www.testforumet.frac.dk/extern.p … mp;show=10

If you visit the testpage http://testforumet.frac.dk you´ll find the recent topics at the bottom, but just the box...no topics in it?? I´ve added the code below to the main.tpl near the end. (after the last </table> in the code above)
