To bad you can't use it in windows
Actually, someone ported blackbox to work as your windows shell.
Have fun!
Edit: Now that I search, there are a couple of them out there.

Not sure on the kernel compile, but here's what I got on other fronts.
Package dependencied are similar to the .dll hell in the good 'ol days of windows. Gentoo is by far the best for its BSD stlye port system.
As for a gui, KDE is a grahics, and memory hog. It bogs down my system. I run GNOME when need to do some hard core crap, but for daily usage, I use fluxbox, by Far the best out there.
All you need is HTML on for signitures. Unfourtunaly, 1.1.* does not have html enabled. You are going to downgrade for that.
Once you get that staightend out, jus add this code
<embed src="blah.swf" height="blah" width="blah"></embed>
I have been looking for an Aggregator that can email me a specific RSS feed. The reason this is use full is as follows:
I dont have wap access on my mobile phone, so when I need to check the scores of a game on the go, I cant. Because I have free text messaging, I thought I could have a program or a script send me the latest of an rss feed to my mobile through email. If anyone knows where I can find a program like this, please do tell. Or, If anyone can provide a script that can run in Outlook 2003, that would also be appriciated.
But who knows?
No one. Believe me.
People have used a tragidy to gain something. I rather not go into details, but think really hard.
They found a detonaters and Koranic messages in a van.
This should not be used as hard and fast evidence. I am not ruleing out Al-Qaida, all Im saying that if a group wants to shift the blame off of them, the eaisest way to do it is by "leaving" messagas in Arabic.
I guess your right Paul. Damn, why cant people realize that IE is dead?
New song: "Blame Microsoft".
Oh, what a world we live in.
Its up to us to fix it you know.
The punbb.org bullets look fine. Its just that site...
I agree. Im against certain types of censurships. If this was a school form, this idea would work fine. In "real world" (what ever that is) practicality, this feature would make people run and hide.
Paul, you have a great point
I have grown up with this whole concept of freedom of speach, mostly because I live in USA. If you dont play close attention to the clauses, you might miss this important statement. This is the abriged version of it: Freedom of speach cannot be used against another persons rights.
Thats besides the point.
In some cases, this feature is very valuable. However, this tool should also be used with great care. If you filter out everything, there is no point of posting.
Edit: Congrats to me...100th post.
I guess this could be a useful feature, however, I would hate to be a moderator if/when your board becomes popular.
In the user list, select the users you want to be moderators/administrators. After that, there is a list of topics that they can moderate.
Use a different port. When someone types in ur ip, just add a :xxx. xxx being the new port number.
Ex: 225.225.225.225:2302
Hmn...
I see.
Makes sence.
Will get back to you as soon as I try.
Uh, this has nothing to do with punbb. This is related to my main page.
I have a poll script on my site thats seperated into 2 files. select.php and write.php.
When I select.php directly everything works fine.
However, when I:
<? include ('*/poll/select.php') ?>
*=My webserver.
Because each section of my site is in a diferent sub folder, I get this: "*/News/write.php" not found.
When I add the poll files to the News directory, I get a constant Loop.
Help would be apriciated.
Thats the Spirit!
Make sure you have Apache running, and the PHP extensions installed. If this were linux, I would say "Make sure you check your services". But because this is win, I have to say, check MScofig.
Thats true, but the tech support would be much cheaper.
As far as the maintence goes, I'm pretty sure the people who maintain the Mod Reasource would maintain this aswell.
I'm not sating this is the only way out, but here goes.
It appears that lots of people loath installing mods. Understandable so, because it can be a daunting task. Here's what I propose:
An online wizard in which people select which mods they would like to have "pre-installed". After its done selecting, it will state possible conflict issues, and if all issues are solved, the person can download only the effective files. All the files are pre made so the "wizard" is not doing any real script writing, its just making it eaiser to have pre installed scripts.
I know, this beats the point of Punbb+, but I think this is a better solution.
By simple, do you mean with no learning curve? Or simple as in fast? Either way, Firefox is the best.
still trying man. Its harder then it seems.
I'm personaly tired of IE, all those active x, and "cool" web content that slows it down even more. I personaly use Firebird all the time. As an added bonus, when I switch between OSs, All my favorite items are all there. And Mozilla isnt really NS. NS sorta adopted it because no one was using their navigator. Oh, and Open Source is the future, so might aswell hop on the bandwagon now.
