Very nice looking forums. I love your skin, and you've got a good amount of members too! 10/10, first one I've ever given out

Topic: Change Domain (3 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
if we want to change the domain or directory where are forums are, do we need to install all over again, or is there a simple change we can do to the config file or something? Like if my forums are under www.aio.trap17.com, and i want to move them to www.aio.trap17.com/forums.
Help is much appreciated, I really don't want to start again

what is the default font used by the forums? I'm wondering for the rest of my site, so they all match.

Re: Bad HTTP Referer (4 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
Not recently that I know of. I don't know what could be the problem. And today, it wouldn't let me log off, very strange. I guess I'll have to switch over to mozilla until I get to the bottom of this.
Could it be zone alarm? The only problem with that is I've had zone alarm way before I installed punbb.

Topic: Bad HTTP Referer (4 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
I got the bad http referer for the first time today. It has never happened before, and so I checked my admin options, and the base url was right, and I even copied it and pasted it into the url and tried it again, still no luck. So I switched browsers over to Mozilla from IE, and there was no more bad http referer problem. I'm glad everything works, but I went back to IE, and still no luck, so it seems if I want to do anything admin related I have to do it through mozilla. Anybody know why this would be?

Try using the edit button, it helps with all those posting your doing. Everytime you post, it brings your topic to the top (I'm sure you know this, and this is unfair to others trying to show off their forums. Please have some curteousy; we all need members badly)

Radiohead is my favourite band, and they've been so for two years now. I have every album and almost every song.
My favourites are: Black Star, Scatterbrain, and Karma Police.
Anyone else a fan?

Yes, I'm back again. It seems that each attempt fails to attract any members, so I switch from one of my hobbies to another, but web design is so much fun .
Autumn In Oxford [AIO] for short covers several topics, so you're bound to find something you like, however, it does have a focus on the band radiohead.
hope you enjoy! I really like the banner on this one, and the styling took me a while, I tried my best to make it mozilla efficient.
if I get enough members I will purchase a top level domain to accompany the site, instead of that pathetic subdomain

Re: More members (9 replies, posted in General discussion)
Thanks for the advice, the forums are now specialized, but I'm still thinking of ways to attract other members.
And fhd_21, your signature has the equivalent of fhd in farsi, I'm not sure if that's in arabic or farsi, however, because they share the same alphabet, but I love the sig!

Re: site reformation! (4 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 show off)
I'll compress those images for sure, the only reason blueforum.jpg is so large is for the larger posts, the tiling of the image doesn't look very nice so I tried to keep it to a minimum, and thanks so much for the feedback!

Topic: More members (9 replies, posted in General discussion)
I have a forum, and I always seem to run into this problem, I cannot get enough members. I was pondering why, my forums are usually well-rounded and pretty much cover everything, is that it? Should I specialize my forums? And does anyone know any tips or sites to go to that can help me get more members?

Topic: theN R - Articles, Discussions, everything you need (0 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 show off)
Hi, all, I'm relatively new to this site, but my site project has been going on for several weeks now, and finally I am in the final periods. My site theN R is a relative of the blog, however, with handy extras. The articles aren't as biased or personal as those on many other blogs, and there are forums!
The forums really cover all aspects of life, while focussing on politics, the forums also cover technology, entertainment (music, movies), today's controversial topics, military, history, and more! If the forums get members and the site has visitors, I will buy a top level domain, but for now only a subdomain. Have a look around. Hope you enjoy the site.
And please post any suggestions or comments; your feedback can help make my site better.

Topic: Width of the forums (1 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
I'm new and I just installed my punbb forums, so far it is AMAZING. However, the rest of my site is centered at a width of 600 pixels, and the punbb forums go the width of the screen. I looked through the css and got dizzy, apparently many factors are styled together so when I change the width of one thing, it changes the width of several other things that I didn't want changed. I was wondering if there was an easy way to get the the whole forums page to fit in 600 pixels and centered. Any help is welcome, I'm in dire need of it!
