It's really very commendable to see such honesty about one's mistake(s). There's nothing wrong with making a mistake.. they usually provide some of life's best lessons. There are so few capable of such admissions.

Kudos to you Rickard.

Thanks, I have these packages. I thought there was/is a difference between punla (lite) and punbb. Just not sure if your punbb is designed for joomla or standalone.

How do you use punbb yourself?

Pogenworst, Where can I find the punla forum?

Hello,
I had punla installed in a joomla site (as well as a few other components) and the site was hacked. This is not suggesting that the hack came through punla at all. I'm rebuilding the site and would like to install punla again. Is punla secure? Has it been updated? Was there any security risks that needed plugging/updating? Where can I find a current (the most current) version.

I'm having difficulty finding where to download it now. Seems it has been removed from forge.joomla

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

No luck there. What I need is the joomla security upgrade. My current install is identified below:
<description>This component provides you with PunBB 1.2.11 wrapped inside Mambo/Joomla.</description>

Thanks very much.. I'll look there

Hi Smartys.. thanks for the quick reply. I'm trying to upgrade my punbb for joomla 1.0.11

Hello, I'm trying to upgrade to 1.2.12 and for some reason there is no xml file in the download... or admin, config, install, toolbar, toolbar.punbo.html.php or uninstall.php files. Hmmm. Probably something at my end? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. I've tried downloading the 1.2.12 package from joomlaforge and punbb with the same result.

Thanks
