well:

In theory , anyone with a shell/login to the webhost via telnet or at the console will be able to write to your file if they have access to your web directory. No-one without FTP access will be able to change things from the web, its only people with access to the server you need to worry about.

So your host has prob gave out shell access to someone on the server ( which looks like they oversell) and they have left a port open~!

i think the best thing is to install WAMP ( has php + apache and MYSQL) all set up and install punbb

go to punres.org and look for attachments.

is their a meathod that punbb uses? on 1.2.X ?

just lose all contact with them before they become serious about charging you... Dont contact support, dont send emails...

It required some type of cron things So i was messing around in the cpanel with that and I guess i messed sumthing up ( This is my first time using cpanel ) Im a very php Newb. So then I guess I learned couple day's later it was causing spam on the Server WITCH I am extremely sorry for I had no idea! I was at Highschool! And I talked to your tech guys.. They kinda making me mad because they wont tell me what the problem was because I had no idea.. I am very sorry for this happening I had no idea..
