what people normaly do is open a website in there field and goto related forums and just join in on the conversation, in your signature you will have links to your website - mabe to articles that are interesting to people.

i started a gaming website a while back, put my link in my signature and since i was member at so many forums already - hardware and game related, i posted articles about games and hardware and software and people came.

real estate i think is differnt, make some buisness cards and pass them around, but dont be pesky about it, pass them around in good locations that people are going to find places to buy.

make advertisements up and get them to google.com for adsense - im not sure how to go about that at all, so dont ask me its just something i thought would be possible.

look at your competition and see how they do things too.
