Newbie needs advice

Hi Everyone,
I literally have zero programming experience. My goal is to make a fairly basic site with a message board and blogs included.  Is Punbb the best forum option for somebody with my lack of programming experience?  I purchased the punbb jumpbox, but I'm not sure if there's other options I should consider. Any other advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
