Topic: pun_antispam link blocking doesn't appear to work

I have the forum set to not allow link posting if you have less than 10 posts.

It does, indeed, block signatures until 10 posts, however, people are perfectly able to put links into posts.  Example: http://www.theprofessionalphotographyfo … 977#p27977

How can I block people from being able to put links into their posts until they hit a certain number of posts?

I think the new spam blocker that dimkalinux wrote will do that - at least on the first post. Check out this thread: http://punbb.informer.com/forums/topic/ … am-system/

You might like it anyway. I just installed it and it works really well. I went from about 100 down to 0 spam registrations per day. At least for now I can disable e-mail verification and any other spam blocking.
