Topic: question regarding private sub forums - is it possible

Hi

I am thinking of using punbb for a forum but I am not sure about 1 feature - I will be having a private forum(s) that is 'members-only' (I am setting up a membership site), as well as a free, regular forum, and would like to know whether punbb supports this. Can I (as admin) move people from 1 to another - say if I had a section for everyone to regiuster, then a section where those who took the trial offer were members, and then the actual 'full membership' private forum.

That's doable. You'd set up a group for paid users, and give that group read/post permissions to the paid forum, while denying all other groups read access to it.
