SSL and PunBB

Hi,

I just set up punbb for the first time and would like to use it with ssl. Unfortunately, when I try to log in or register over https the only thing that happens is a pop-up window informing me that my data will sent unencrypted.

Can someone give me some hints how to set the forum up over ssl? Also, is it possible to get the cookie encrypted somehow?
