Topic: bbcode included in subscription e-mails...

Is the BBcode in posts supposed to show up when subscription e-mails are sent that include the message?  (the code itself, not the effect)

Seems a little odd and makes it hard to read...

The problem is how it should be formatted if it was removed.

Re: bbcode included in subscription e-mails...

what I mean is, when someone is subscribed to a topic and have the "include message" enabled,  any BBCode that was in the post is in the e-mail...  Is this right? or did I screw something up with my code mods...

isn't it possible to strip out the BBcode during the e-mail process?

Re: bbcode included in subscription e-mails...

You're right and that was what I was talking about in my previous post. The problem I was referring to was that if you strip out the BBCode from the e-mail, there will be no way of knowing who wrote what in case the message contains a quote. The same goes for code.
