Hey I found a free GuestMap by Bravenet ... looks pretty cool. Each visitor can put a pin on a map to show where they're from...

the guest map is realy kool, some one should set one up and have everyone one on these forums to sign it and tell where they live, think that would be realy kool

only problem with bravenet is that it's got a limit of 100 messages for the free version, and it shows ads (although not very annoying). I found these as well which are free... but not as polished as bravenet
http://www.brainerror.net/scripts_php_guestmap.php - shows you how to create your own... but doesn't have a zoom feature.
http://www.guestmap.org/ - this one looks more promising, but current version is very basic.
