Re: Everyones IP is the same

well, this is a local ip.
are you behind a router, proxy or any other type of gateway?

Re: Everyones IP is the same

If everyones IP is the same, that must mean that the server is behind some kind of proxy. The problem has been adressed in 1.2 though.

Re: Everyones IP is the same

the server isnt behind any router and you can actually change your own ip by using a proxy

for example when a stupid moderator ip banned this dude, it ip banned everyone, we had to use a proxy to take it off

Re: Everyones IP is the same

this has been posted before. it is just the server, and i think its fixed in 1.2

Re: Everyones IP is the same

Killa: If the server isn't behind a proxy, that must mean that everyone else is. You said _everyone_ had the same IP in the forums. That can only happen if there is some sort of filter between the visitor and the server that resets the IP address to the same address for every visitor.

Re: Everyones IP is the same

since its a local IP address the server is probably using a local proxy to access the internet...

i should correct Killa. not everyones ip is the same. its usally people over in the south east, but some IP's do come up as different the all of the others.
