Topic: Apache stats

I'm looking for a nice stats generator for Apache logs. Any tips?
Oh, and I'm running Apache on a Win32 machine.

Re: Apache stats

Awstats outputs very nice stats, but it's a Perl script, so it takes forever to process the logs. I used to run Webalizer when PunBB was hosted in my kitchen. The output is quite ugly, but it's very fast. Now, with PunBB.org hosted at Textdrive, I have access to Urchin. It's very cool smile

Re: Apache stats

any chance of some stats on punbb.org? would be interesting to see how many hits you get wink

Re: Apache stats

In a while. I just moved here, so there's not a lot of data to analyze yet.

Not if you put a cron job to run it every 10-15 minutes

That's what I do on my server, takes but seconds to run.

0,15,30,45 * * * * www-data /usr/local/awstats/tools/awstats_updateall.pl now >/dev/null

Mind you I don't get an enormous amount of hits but I do have 15 virtual hosts each with their own log files.

Re: Apache stats

Funnelweb Analyzer is the best free stats analyzer I have found.

The download links are on the left.

If anyone haven't seen it, this is how webalizer looks: http://www.punres.org/webstat/
