Topic: Overflow in post

Just noticed in the test forum topic:
http://punbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=5689
that if you have show smilies grahphics turned off, you can't see the end of the line, you have to use your mouse and select the text to be able to read the end of it. I use firefox 1.0 if that helps.

My software never has bugs. It just develops random features.

Re: Overflow in post

Thats not a bug, its a feature. The aim is to stop long lines of unbroken text from breaking the layout. The rationale is that there is absolutely no valid reason why somebody would post a string like this other than to be a nuisance. In other browsers you can't see the end of the line whatever you do, it's just chopped of.

Hehe, okey. There is one thing that I can think of though that is a long ling and that would be an url. But I guess if you want to copy the whole url you can do that in easier ways..

It would have to be a very long URL to run into problems. Anyway, you can always use <code> tags
