Topic: Registration Loop

Someone ran a loop on the PunBB boards on my site, www.ninezeronine.net and they made like 27,000 users. I was wondering if there is a quick fix or if there is a bug that needs to be fixed?

I wouldn't call it a bug, but it sure can be a problem. There currently is no easy way of preventing it. The most common solution is to display an image in the register form containing a certain number that must be entered manually. That solution requires GD though and I know of a lot of web hosts that don't support GD (because it can be a resource hog).

A mod perhaps?

Yeah I asked around thats that is what everyone is telling me so yeah that would be cool if someone made a mod for it.
