If you allow guest posting you have the possibility of getting spammed...

Is it just me, or does this screw up the XHTML?

Intead of "&" shouldn't it be "&"?
I'm getting tons of errors on the PM links.

Yeah I think I have the same problem. When I send a message and the "message has been sent" page appears it has errors in it, just thought youd like to know big_smile

Is there a way of having a visible bar to display the percentages(ie. like a bar graph)? I think this was in the original pun poll previous to the 1.2.* series. Having just the percentage isnt that exciting so it would be really nice to add.

I really linked the check box to add a poll that Connorhd had in his design instead of the link with easy poll. Could someone do this?

307.7 on my third try...

username: supertester
password: demo

demo? yikes

Yeah, its intentional so that banned users get SCREWED!

Is their a viewable demo of this mod like Connorhd posted so I can compair it to punpoll? Are their any visible differences?

Lastly, Does this mod conflict with PMS, Easy BBC, or New Window Link (http://www.punres.org/viewtopic.php?id=217) ?

so this just makes it so guest have to sign up before they read the forum?

Connorhd: Im pretty selective when it comes to installing mods and I know that you maintain your mods and fix any problems that occur as soon as you can. I just dont know the 'Easy Poll' mod creator will be the same way so Im a little hesitant to install this mod. Please continue your work on punpoll so that I can be reasured with a relighable mod or at very least merge your two designs so that you can develop Easy Poll aswell this would make the amount of work a lot easier.

Iv had this problem with earlier versions of punbb but I havent tested it on any of the new 1.2.x verions of punbb. I dont think this thread was explained properly so let me reiterate.

For my website the base URL is set to http://www.greasyspoon.org/forum

Yet, if I got to http://greasyspoon.org/forum I cant post or modify any admin settings (probably anything that has to do with database changes) although viewing is normal.

The difference is simply the "www." infront of the URL.

I was thinking that this might be due to browser cacheing (sp?) of the forums pages.

EDIT: Okay, I just tested it and im not even loged in, so I have no clue what the fuck is going on. But Im assuming that the cookie is under http://www.greasyspoon.org/forum and not http://greasyspoon.org/forum

Im having the same problem, when I use the User Managment plug a lot of my users say they dont recieve the email containg their password so I end up having to set up the account manualy. Is there some sort of time limit within punbb to build up the emails and mass send them or does punbb sent the emails instantly?

Yes, security should be a priority and its reasuring to know that punbb thinks the same way.
