I agreee, if it is a community which always had a clear picture. As the forum is open to all, anyone can post anything here, and we shouldnot restict them also. if the motive is just to rank then it is useless. we rank them to avoid spamming with post/reply.
again it depends on the board. if its just to discuss the views of the users (example: Arts & Design or Photography) then its good to have everyone's voting. when it comes to information, it shoul carry the proper information only, not simply suggestion. In this case we need to keep judges(like admin, moderators and the one who questions).

So happy to share somany things, we should be proud to say that we are programmers, not just "script kiddies". Its not that we should not copy or use someone's code. The smart way to do the work is copy paste. but it should be done in a proper way. We should not start inventing the wheel, rather we can give leverage to it.
There may be lot of script kiddies, we are not to compare them with us. Just we have to work smart an overtake them. To be loyal we should not steal the code simply.. should give credits to those who really worked on it.

If we are working for someone, we should think what they need, not what we are. Once you get hold on that place, you can induce your ideas an skills.

if it is given to moderator or admin, then its okay, if the choice is given to users/guests, even for the good answers they may be lazy to vote. so i suggest only the moderator / admin / the one posted the post should be able to vote. not all others...

Earlier "PHPed" was free.. thats why i referred it "free"
Now i am using UltraEdit which is free too.. (before)
Ultra Edit is Good and my friend suggested that PHPed.. he too doesnt have free version. Thats why i requested..
