Safe method
Disable pun_poll on extensions page.
Remove or move current pun_poll folder from extensions dir.
Copy new pun_poll to extension dir.
Update pun_poll on extensions page.
Enable pun_poll on extensions page.

You can not downgrade admin from forum.
It is one way to do it — change user groups in database.

Maybe it becouse that nginx setuped executed PHP only in ROOT dir and not executed in extensions subdir.
Create any test.php file in pun_colored_groups extensions dirs.
Put in test.php
<?php
echo 'work';
?>and try access to this file from browser.
