Mozilla FireFox 0.9.2
edit: It seems to work again...
nope, i had tried it before and just tried it again.
Alright, thanks.
I switched to IE and it worked.... I guess ill have to live with it
Go ahead
That clock is almost always the same to me. 00:47:22 right now. I tired it and its still the same. The weird thing was that I had just used it about 5 min before, then I tired it again and it just wont work.
Alright, the next time hes online I'll tell him to.
That would work, just a bit of an incovince. I would reset there post counts to zero for spamming, but im sure theyll just spam more to get it back up
1. That isnt what I meant
2. When i first saw that I thoguht it was it, cause for some reason FireFox seems to cache everything, but it isnt. After I cleared it there still there.
it happened to about 10 topics that ive noticed. it never did this before the upgrade (1.1.0 to 1.1.5).
and no, the code has not been altered at all (that i know of)
1. By the ones that people have posted in recentley
2. This is why I made this topic, it wont remove them
i think suggestions should go here, move it if they dont.
make it so that it doesnt increase the number of posts when someone posts, but insteads does something like mysql_num_rows(mysql_query("SELECT * FROM posts WHERE user=username)); (please note that i doubt this will work right now) so that it will subtract posts from dleted posts and stuff.
wait, d*mn pruning. ok, when a post is deleted have it subtract a post from the user. this way people dont spam to get higher post counts, cause if we delete it they still have the same number of posts.
he didnt make a forum (well, a small one). he made a MMORPG (legendarena.com).
accutley, they wouldnt do that, theyd do something worse. b*tch at me for the next 3 years
edit: hmmz.... no censoring...
for me its all of them. if there is a new post in it or if you post in it it stays there till i hit mark all forums as read

delete a 150+ page topic that people are still posting in? you know how pissed people would get if we did that?
yeh i think it would be pretty funny actually
you dont know these people. theyd rip you apart and put your head on a stick for doing that
im going to go crazy..... too many exclamation points.....
no mods, and whats vanilla?
alright, this one i just found here. i replied in the topic (blank page) and now when i click mark all forums as read, it goes to that redirect page and goes back to index.php, but it still has that annoying ! by the topic.

the maker of punBB is named Rickard Andersson and the owner of a major forum i goto is named Michael Andersson. i guess they both have extensive knowledge of php/mysql.
just something weird ive noticed....
I don't know how, but I believe the actual number of replies in the topic isn't the same as the value of num_replies in the database. That way, PunBB believes there are more replies, when there actually aren't. It shouldn't happen though. Have you had any table crashes or any unexpected MySQL or Apache shutdowns perhaps? I'm thinking maybe one of the scripts got interrupted right in the middle of updating.
well, this forum was using 1.1.0 (i think...) for over a year or so. the owner just updated it about 2 weeks ago and this has happened in numerous places. i dont think weve had any table crashes nor apache shutdowns, but im not certain.
im not the owner of the forum. i can tell the owner, but not sure if he'll do it or even if he can do it.
sure as hell doesnt for me. like i said, my computer crashed when i started it. i really need XP, but i just cant stand it......
this has happened quite a few times.

i think it has to do with the fact that we had that on an old version and upgraded and this topic is 166 pages long.
lmao, im still using 98se, but it couldnt handle the browser loading so it crashed.
