Search options (Page 7 of 7)
Paul,
based on past history here. I would definatly go the route of "they clearly screwed up". I get JS errors that want to be debugged all the time. (ie almost anything that has a rollover state). BTW, Can you point me to some good CSS resource sites that outline all the diff. bugs and hacks?
TY!
ok take a look.
lol, when I do a help>About Internet Explorer it says right at the bottom "This is a customized version of Internet Explorer". nuff Said. I can send a screen cap of what I see if you would like to see it. I am sure this is an issolated incicent.
Not sure if this classifies as a "bug", but I didn't know where else to post this.
When I view this page in IE6 at work http://punbb.org/downloads.php, there is a big "white space" above the Downloads heading.
At work being the key word here. The company I work for has custom builds of XP pro that it uses to deploy all PCs that are used by employees, so I am not sure if this the reason I am having this issue or not. Would be nice if someone else can verify this for me.
Thanks.
FF 1.0 default browser
IE 6.0.29+ for testing.
I guess I should get opera for testing also.
Nice! already on 1.2. I need to upgrade my clients site, but not at 11:09 PM EST. The last thing I want is to be up all night. And you know how many mistakes you make late at night when you are tired.
Good Work! Be sure to posted the finshed results.
lol. I guess I used the wrong words to search. I guess I should learn how to use a search engine before I go making requests for search features!
I read some of the posts, and I think I will just stick with CTRL + F. I dont want to clutter the code. I like the minimalist approach.
Thanks for the quick response
Not sure if this has been requested before. I did a search on this subject and came up empty. I was wondering if anyone thought it may be a good idea to highlight/boldface keywords in the threads listed in after the search query is performed. (e.g. I searched for the word "foo", and the results listed 10 possible threads with the word foo in them. Upon clicking on one of the search result links, the keyword is made to stand out for each post on the page.
Makes searching much more efficient IMO.
Thoughts?

Wow. very nice theme/style. Only the schooled eye would catch that it is punBB running and not one of the other "streamline challanged" message boards. Great work!
Thanks! thats great encouragement to try more

Is this being released any time soon now that 1.2 is out?
Thanks for all of your hard work.

LOL. Thats the song I was singing when I posted that message. Classic. Sure sign I am one step from the funny farm.
