All I know for sure is that if Sweden and Danemark draw 2 - 2 they both go through and the result of the other match is irrelevant. If that happens watch out for conspiracy theories with Italian accents.

Just checked
- if Sweden draw they are through
- If they draw 2-2 Danemark are through as well.
- if Sweden loose they can still go through provided Italy don't win

For those who are getting confused. pgregg is also Paul in the real world.

I see that dR slIzer has PunBB running on a no-ip address. His url is in his profile. Maybe he could help.

Paul. The name of the avatar will always be user_id.file_type. I.e. 7.gif, 7.png or 7.jpg.

That makes sense. In that case the site was working perfectly.

Tried it. The avatar which Rickard put there was called 7.gif. I changed that to an avatar called 1328.jpg with no problem. I then tried to change it to an avatar called 2.gif and then 9.gif. In both cases I just got Rickards 7.gif back again. Cleared my cache and my 2.gif is now showing up but it's had it's name changed to 7.gif. Everything is in Turkish as it should be.

Could you post a link to your forum.

No problem Paul. I'll try to keep things as simple as possible. I'll have to make it transitional since there are a few "target="_blank" ; usually I'm playing with XHTML1.0 strict...

Transitional is what I have for v1.2 for the same reason plus strict throws up some addional wobblies in IE6. I did actully do a prototype for index.php without any tables at all but then ended up styling the forum list to look like a table as that was the layout which made most sense. Conclusion; if it works best looking like a table, use a table.

If you want to take a look at a totally tableless bbs look here

This what you want?

No. I just wanted to know which English the spell checker was going to use because in the case of French and Spanish more than one derivation was specified.

Upgraders:  DO NOT install Mozilla Thunderbird into a directory containing program files from a previous version.  Overwriting files from a previous release WILL cause problems.  To re-use the directory of a previous install, the directory must be deleted and recreated, emptied, moved, or renamed.  You should not file bugs in Bugzilla if you choose to ignore this step.

The program directory does not contain profile information; any existing accounts, account settings, options, e-mail, and news messages will remain intact.  This release does not require changes to your profile to function properly.

First a new version of Firefox and now the latest release of Mozilla's email/news client. I don't use it myself but it may be of interest to some of you.

The latest version of Firefox can now be downloaded.
Now includes a data migration tool for importing information from other browsers.

EDIT

Just installed it. The import of IE6 history, cookies, recently viewed pages, bookmarks and passwords worked perfectly.

Just a thought. Say somebody has a huge forum with say 30 categories and a lot of forums within each category. Wouldn't the best solution be to customize PunBB to add an extra level of navigation. Index would only list categories. Click on a category and it takes you to a viewcategory.php which lists the forums within that category. From then on everything would work as normal.

The only possible use I could see for that would be a huge board with a large number of categories and forums within each category. Say something that would fill several screens vertically. Even then all it does is save some vertical scrolling. The number of people who might want to use PunBB for such a forum is probably minute as they will almost certainly use a board which supports sub-categories.

I would have thought that the impact on page load would be exactly the opposite as we are talking javascript/dhtml/styleswitching.

Animated chest

And here come Italy sneaking through on the rails while nobody is looking.

As for four quality midfielders. The latest news is Scholes has an ankle injury and may be unfit for the next match.

Joey. What about Ledley King. Personally I would leave him in the side now even if Terry is fit. What do you think.
