Nah, I've seen him before, its genuine.

At the end of the day who gives a sh*t if he is the strongest, if he tried to fight you just shoot him from 20m away

easier for who? not for me, sorry!

I had a look at the migration tool, but there's no dev-notes; this is the result of me wanting to convert the data as quick as possible, unfrotunately I do not have time to work out how to get this to work with the migration tool.

Maybe later.

Surely you would put some extra effort in for the good of the punBB community?

Chacmool hangs out in #punbb on Quaknet IRC and you can find his email address in his profile.

If you like. I have quite a bit of experience with XMB in general.

Although it would still be a good idea to try and contact Chacmool. If you could work with him to integrate your converter into the migration tool, it would make things a lot easier.

Good work. Although the "Todays Birthday" list is not a standard feature in XMB anyway.. its a hack.

Been wanting this to come along for a while now smile

Andy: I agree. Linux on the desktop just isn't there yet. Then again, looking at MacOS X, neither is Windows really smile

Mac is pretty and stable, but hardly offers the plethora of applications that Windows does. smile

Honostly, I think that it dosen't really matter. How many times are you going to install this infront of other people?

It doesn't matter whether its once or a hundred times, it still poses a risk, however slight. It only requires a slight alteration, and there is nothing to lose by doing it.

Still makes me uncomfortable installing it sometimes.

Its worth remembering that Windows is still generally easier to operate for the "typical" user. Linux is brilliant for servers, but as a personal preference I wouldn't use it on a home computer. Windows still has the edge on usability.
Linux just isn't ready to replace Windows on most computers.

Nicely done smile

As I read the GPL it would be legal as long as the portal is not built on or dependent of PunBB. An alternative would be release the portal under GPL too, this could make it harder to get people to pay for it though.

If you undertook your suggestion, you could only charge for the packaging and support of the distribution.

Very cool idea. smile

Windows isn't "crap". I'd still use it over Linux for a desktop environment...

Abyss Web Server is tiny and might suit your needs.

Brilliant work.

I find it quite pathetic how BBC News always says

"50000 dead, including 4 britons"

Why is that detail always neccessary?

Working very well now for me smile

More than 7,000 people have been killed across southern Asia in massive sea surges triggered by the strongest earthquake in the world for 40 years.

The 8.9 magnitude quake struck under the sea near Aceh in north Indonesia, generating a wall of water that sped across thousands of kilometres of sea.

More than 3,200 died in Sri Lanka, 1,870 in Indonesia and 2,000 in India.

Casualty figures are rising over a wide area, including tourist resorts on Thailand packed with holidaymakers.

Exact numbers of people killed, injured or missing in the countries hit, are impossible to confirm.

Hundreds are still thought to be missing from coastal regions and, in Sri Lanka alone, officials say more than a million people have been forced from their homes.

DISASTER TOLL
Sri Lanka: 3,225 dead
Indonesia: 1,873 dead
India: 2,000 dead
Thailand: 257 dead
Malaysia: 28 dead
Maldives: 10 dead
Bangladesh: 2 dead
