Drop the "can't remeber me" thingy - I'm talking about proxy problems etc - Moderator can't edit his posts in his forum..

Are you sure it works correctly with phpBB/IPB? You should be able to login with those forums (since they use sessions), but it won't remember you the next time you visit the forum. You have to tell the difference between a session and a cookie.
All I know is that phpBB + IB don't has problems with cookies and moderation...

the thing u said about third party cookies is incorrect. All BB's don't make problems like PunBB. They don't have the minor bugs PunBB has.

edit, lock whatsoever his post @ his forum... He says bad referer, but the address without the slash is correct becuase he can edit his posts in another forum...
First, this is not a dumb feature.
Secondly - If you have in ur board a forum that is called Guides, you can move good guides (topics) to its archive. and people will check in the archive first.
