Hi,
I'm setting up a PunBB installation for my NationState's region's website. As I was mucking around in my profile, I attempted to add a link to my NationState. These links are generally like this: http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/ind … ationstate
However, the field cuts off at about http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/ind … tion=my_na

I don't know if this is a bug or something that needs to be troubleshooted, but could someone advise me on how to increase the limit there? Sorry if I overlooked something stupid...

I had a blog, but I didn't update it much and it was just sitting there with a lot of allocated space and bandwidth I could be using for other things, so I dropped it and started using the domain for my home/testbed server smile

I thought "show your e-mail address" was default...

Eveyone seems to be ignoring an option posed on page 1; to force people to use form mail. I think this is an excellent solution, as spam bots won't send spam to form mail - ever. Perhaps "force" is too strong a word... how about "make form mail default" and add a warning to people who disable it (and enable plain-text addresses) that their e-mail address "may become available to address harvesters." smile

I like it above the sig. The screenshot you posted looks great Kennel.
I didn't even find the last post edited by note for a while smile

Can you explain more what happens? Is this only in mozilla?

Both IE6 and Mozilla have radio buttons instead of checkboxes for multiple vote and single choice polls.

Yea, if you sell it under a commercia license, the commercial users will except some kind of personal support besides a forum.

There are other forums with comparable speeds, but PunBB has more features than they do. Indeed, PunBB is teh win.

Ahh. It is a bug in 1.5RC1. Tested in Mozilla 1.3.1, works fine. D'oh...dunno why I didn't think of that first.

Have you figured out a fix for the mozilla problem (page not updating?) I downloaded 1.1 and addded it, but it still doesn't work sad
I select post new topic. Fill out title and post. Check post new poll. nothing. hit submit. Get error - must fill in poll. go back. refresh - nothing. uncheck post new poll - hit submit. Then edit post...NOW I can add the poll.

Also, multiple choice doesn't work at all...

Well, when I'm editing the first section of my or a user's profile and hit the first submit button. For instance, changing a user title.

Hi,
Mozilla spouts a POSTDATA error when editing stuff via profile.php and admin_permissions.php

The page you are trying to view contains POSTDATA. If you resend the data, any action the form carried out (such as a search or online purchase) will be repeated. To resend the data, click OK. Otherwise, click Cancel.

I usually hit cancel and manually go back to my main forum. I'm not too terribly good with PHP so I can't fix this myself...but it seems that profile could go back to the base URL and admin_permissions to the base admin page.
I'm using Mozilla 1.5RC1, PunBB 1.0.1 on FreeBSD, with PHP version...uhh...4.3.3 if that helps.
