make sure your new post indicator in your css file it bright 
also, if you stay on the site long enough it will 'expire' and will no longer be 'new'

I've fixed things up around my website and totaly changed the style, look, and feel of my page. Its now all xhtml 1.0 strict (for the most part) and uses a lot of css magic.

just a quick question. what is the php include punbb.org uses to show 'recent posts' on the main page i dont think i can replicate the same effects on my site. i would like to add something like that to my main aswell. the reason is i tried reading over the instructions in extern.php and everything went well but when a topic is posted in it does not move it to the top of the list. am i doing something wrong?

Is there a super rough time you mix expect to release 1.3?
It dosent have to be anything remotely close like even something along the lines of winter '05 would help out alot. The reason is if its remotely soon then ill wait before doing some heavy modding and integration. Even a rought amount of time (in months) when it might be released would do just fine.

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to explain how I could share a user database. Punbb has been my bigest forum database in a long while and I want to give access to the forum users to log into other parts of my site. I have photopost and I want the user database set up so its shared between photopost and punbb, is this possible?
