Just make a search containing code, quote, barcode, barquote, barcoder ...
whereas barcoding works
Some user of mine wondered why a search on "codecs" did not return any result

Well, sorry, please delete this post... But... well I really thought these bugs had been fixed in 1.2.5 and this were instructions for people who had upgraded to 1.2.5 before they had been fixed...
My fault.
Thx for help.
appears 10 times instead of one?
When I upgraded my forum from 1.2.4 to 1.2.5 this morning, I got feedback from users complaining that their posts appeared 10 or 15 times in the topic, as if they had flooded... This seemed to appear always with non registered users.
I then put back the viewtopic.php from 1.2.4, everything seems to be ok, now.. No idea about what it came from.
I'd love punbb using cool uris
I think the pun_link solution is a good one; with a little bit of php knowledge everybody should be able to have the urls he wants to have.
Thanks Rickard for this great forum anyway.

Yep, it's working... thx for the help...
Here's my forum:
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/
And, well, here should be a rss:
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/extern.php?t … ion=active
No? Am I doing something wrong? :s
Well... I think I'll take a screenshot.. http://isfates.mandragor.org/toto/Screenshot.png
With firefox... absolutely no idea where it comes from.. it's happening about once every 2-3 page loads...
Look at http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org and then http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/index.php seems to be the same issue as http://punbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=6009 ...
Really strange bug
well, if he wants to have images next to his text, that's the way I would do it... if that's a goot thing or not, I don't know, it's a thing he must know :]
try to add in the css:
.imgbox, .imgbox scrollbox {display:inline;}
Did not test it, but give it a try :]
Oups, sorry
When trying to recover a lost password:

in http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/login.php?action=forget_2 . The server IP might be wrong, though. But imho, there should not be these errors
[Edit] After some investigations, I receive the email containing my new password.
Because every change I make in punbb core code is a change I'll have to remake every time I upgrade the forum. And you forget very fast one or two tweaks, believe me
And, of course, this should not be really hard to fix.. if this is not done un 1.2 I would do it myself, but, well :]
Hi,
In admin_options.php, *please* put a input type="password" for the smtp password. This is really annoying in that the password can be the same as the ftp password, and I don't necessarily want every forum administrator to get ftp access.
Thanks :]
When you've got a lot of mods installed, it can be discouraging to have to upgrade the version of punbb to the newest, as it implies reinstalling all the mods manually... If there could be a list of mods in the Admin panel, or any other commodate way to install easier mods, well, it would be great
Ok, no Idea about how to code that. But it would be cool ^^
Beautiful girls \o/ :]
Not the first time I install Punbb, but this time 1.2:
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/index.php
Really hope to get a release for 1.2 soon... installed the beta as some bugs in 1.1.5 were fixed only in 1.2, and because as the markup had entirely changed, I didn't wanted to redo the css a month later Well, there it is.. Thanx to Maurice Sway for the Css.
I did it with cookies, without modifying the database. It also needed an additional query, and does not work very well with multiple forum. I think I could improve it... well, do you really need this feature?
It also only works for registered users.
Paul: maybe because some people are parsing each page of their website in xslt to add templates (header, menu, footer), and because that only works with valid xhtml?
I don't really anderstand... where is the right place to look for released mods? Should I look in the "Mod Release" section of forums.punbb.org, or in the Release part of the Mods section in punres.org? I'm looking for a specific mod and I must say I'm quite confused...
How to set the charset to utf-8? I suppose it is possible as I see <pun_char_encoding> in the default template... But where can I set that value to unicode? My forum is in iso-8859-1... is it still possible to move to unicode without having problem with the messages that have been posted until now?
Gulp. Give me a few minutes.
[Edit] Updated.
There were some mistakes in the french translation; I fixed some of them, mostly in fr_misc.php, here it is: http://isfates.mandragor.org/forum/lang/fr/fr_misc.txt . For french people, the mistakes were for example "Déplacé topic" instead of "Déplacer topic" , etc.
Hope this helps. If i find other mistakes, I'll post my fixes in the same topic.
Love PunBB. Can't wait to see 1.2 Keep up the good work!
