Plugins are only for admin/moderator actions smile
I'm not sure what you mean by a theme switcher though. Like allowing Guests to choose their style?

I'd suggest uploading a fresh copy of header.php: I think something edited yours

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="../forum/style/GreenPun.css" />

That's not a fresh install wink
Login and set the deafult stylesheet to something that actually exists

Do you get the same result when using an online validator such as the w3c one? (I use the web developer toolbar which allows me to validate the page easily, you may have to do a copy and paste).

I use it too: the div is missing when you are a regular member

Moved back to Bugs: you're right, there is a missing div smile
There's an endif and a closing div tag which need to be switched wink

Show your posts appears at the bottom of the index page, is that not what you want?

Indeed: the link is in your profile and at the bottom of index.php

Look at the viewforum.php link for that forum. For example, the Troubleshooting forum's ID is 21.

That would just require a couple of lines to be added in index.php

Just to clarify what Jérémie said: that's ONLY for PunBB hosting: you can't host a whole site there.

prit: guardian meant should as in will, not should as in it's a good idea wink
The replacement for this is already in place and it doesn't rely upon the referrer (which obviously can be messed with very easily)

I'm getting a 404 on that zip file

Moved to Troubleshooting, since I can't find where it doesn't validate smile

Indeed, this isn't the place for MyPunBB support

Aha smile
I'm glad you managed to figure it out smile

Try putting this in a .htaccess file

php_value display_errors 1

If that doesn't work, you'll need to download a backup of the database and run it somewhere where you CAN see the error in order to figure out what's wrong

display_errors  boolean

This determines whether errors should be printed to the screen as part of the output or if they should be hidden from the user.

Note: This is a feature to support your development and should never be used on production systems (e.g. systems connected to the internet).

Note: Although display_errors may be set at runtime (with ini_set()), it won't have any affect if the script has fatal errors. This is because the desired runtime action does not get executed.

.htaccess perhaps, not ini_set

You'll need to edit the php.ini on the server or set it via .htaccess I believe

Mmm, do you have display_errors enabled?

OK, let me take a look...

1.0.1? yikes
What version of 1.1 did you download?

The issue is characters being treated as individual characters when in reality they're displayed as HTML entities. I remember this being discussed before, but I can't find the topic

The copyright date has nothing to do with the version number, which can be shown by enabling it in Admin Options. It is disabled by default for security reasons (so people can't search "powered by punbb 1.2.6" in order to easily find forums that should be vulnerable to an exploit). And admins/mods can see the version number in the admin index. There's no reason I can think of why users would need to see the version number of a forum they're using
The copyright years have been updated in 1.3 (although the copyright has been removed from the footer, it's only in the admin index and at the top of every file).

I'm afraid I don't have the time to read through your files: try replacing them with clean (unmodified) copies and see if login works
