1. An extension is being planned for 1.3
2. That's a part of 1, really, although I'm not sure it would be a part of the extension. Maybe an extension for the extension?

Exactly.

I just think people who want to make extensions at this point already have an idea of what extensions they want to make. And really, I don't think they would need a list to choose from in any case: they're perfectly capable of coming up with ideas/asking for ideas on their own. There's really no need for a list like this. smile

I'm going to close the topic, but thank you very much for the effort. smile

I don't really see what the point of this topic is. It's a list of 50 extensions which you like/think should be made, with varying degrees of description depending upon the modification. What relevance does this have to anyone else?

Edit: What Bekko said

Mmm, that makes sense. But if we do that, we should also move deleting avatars into its own function for the same reason (especially since we do it in several places).

Interesting (from the search results, my guess would be that at some point the index.html wasn't being served as the directory index, so Google indexed the list of files in the directory and found the index.html). smile

FYI, I'm not sure whether you meant it to or not, but your post comes off sounding very rude.

I personally don't see any particular advantage to doing things that way in the specific instance you're mentioning (especially since your example actually takes more lines then what is required otherwise). What are the advantages?

Not only is someone linking to blank index.html files, but Google is indexing them as well? How odd. hmm

Ooh, that's an old one. Fixed.

Just that file.

Hmm, replace your copy with a fresh copy from 1.2.17.

Probably it has to do with email subscriptions.
Paste your include/email.php so I can take a look at it and find a way to remove the iconv calls.

Well, the iconv function is never used in PunBB, so the problem is due to one of your modifications.

mb_* functions are slow and not enabled on all setups.

Huh?

iconv? That's not PunBB core, what did you edit in there?

A blank page? Well, that really doesn't tell us much. Check your error_log and see if there are any interesting errors there, or enable display_errors and paste the error you get when you get a white screen.

1. Fixed.
2. That's something for Paul to handle
3. Personally, I don't see that as a problem (and removing the information from either place would lead to more issues).

I believe there's more to the message than that. The full error message would be more useful. wink
Make sure you have the correct database name.
