I'd rather port punbb to phpnuke.

EWWW.. i hope what you have isn't contagous. wink

i think once 1.3 comes out we will see cms functionality in the form of modules/plugins/whatever. just use the mini portal + a few other mods that are sure to get ported to 1.3 and you have a fully functional cms with punbb as it's core.

if i have anything to say about it when 1.3 comes out it will be running the site. news fed from forums, page templates ala forums, etc... as it stands now we don't hav much in the way of content that can't be converted but the chore will be convincing the owner to let me. we've paid alot of $ for what we have now, i'm not sure he'd be willing to give it up. BUT he's never around so he might not care anymore. we'll see.

goto  www.yourdomain.com/forumroot/install.php  then follow the instructions.  you must have a database created already and have the user and password for that db handy for the installation. then you should be able to set up the forum however you want from there.

i am more then happy to donate time and code smile I really dont put alot of time into my code.. or at least  I try not to. lol. Another super simple mod I did was keyword links. If you look on this thread you will see I made it so anytime a fighters name is mentioned in discussion that it auto-links to their profile on site. http://www.ultimate-fighter.ca/Forum/vi … php?id=235

That one I can probably release at some point since its literally just a few lines of code.

that would sweet!

Emancipator, i hope you feel generous when 1.3 comes out and "donate" some time and code. wink

i replaced that code in mail.php in root/include/ and this is the result:

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the forum administrator with the following error message reported by the SMTP server: "501 5.5.4 Invalid Address ".

BUT when i do form email i get the debug text(or emails sent to) at the top of the redirect/confirm page.

copy the outptted text and paste it to a new file and save it as "sitemap.xml" preferably in something OTHER than notepad. suggestion: Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm

i installed the broadcast emailer and it gives me this error when i try to send an email:

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the forum administrator with the following error message reported by the SMTP server: "501 5.5.4 Invalid Address ".

is it refering to the smtp address or an email address that it is trying to send to? does the plugin use php mail or does it use the smtp info i input in the admin options? note: i can send form mail via punbb with the link under usernames in posts so i know the smtp server info works which is just an ip in my case.
