What would they do, close cyber cafe's?

The idea of web mail is to be able to check it from anywhere on anything.

Hey, I like your live clock. I'll try it out on one of my sites.

Like the integration, well done.

Nothing, but those new accounts take awhile to get invites :)

Employers want people who know C# and .NET.

Employers are managers out to cover their a**es, if you know what I mean.

It's a safe bet on their part to go with a Billion Dollar company, just like it was safe to go with IBM back in the day.

I started coding on PC's in Basic on an 8088.

Things have evolved since then, in a good way I believe. We have open source software that affords many to learn from others. No matter how good you are, you can learn a thing or two from someone else's code.

Changing ports might be the way to go, I'll try that.

My DSL provider, Bellsouth, has closed outbound port 25 traffic. So my Debian box running Exim stopped working, so I chnaged the settings in the Admin section to use the Bellsouth smtp server with username and password.

I tested it by sending a message to myself from the admin section, this is the error I get:
Error: Unable to send e-mail. Please contact the forum administrator with the following error message: "502 Command is locally disabled ".

Is this a config issue or is Bellsouth giving me an error?

That would be a nice mod, then the board could be used for classified ads and such.

I "gave" one of these to myself (can't figure out which login-name to use :))

Just curious, anyone figured out how to sign on to different gmail accounts via a firefox bookmark?

I know you can only view one account at a time, but having to sign on, sign out, sign back on again gets tiring.

This is from the php date function:
T - Timezone setting of this machine; i.e. "MDT"

<?php echo date("T"); ?>

Should print out the timezone of the machine the script is run on.

You could always distribute a dummy config file and do this in the install:
if (@file_exists('config.php') && @!is_writable('config.php'))

If it's not writable, then inform the user to make it so or else he'll have to copy the contents of the page into config.php himself.

If it's writable then output it at the end of the install. They also should then make the file '444' to keep it safe.

I just throw my favicon.ico in the root and it seems to work.

You could also do this in your index.html or index.php:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="./favicon.ico" />

May I make a suggestion?

Take the current styles and create new ones with the fonts just slightly larger and then allow your members the choice of the current style or a larger font.

I've noticed that with light colors, like this forum, small fonts are readable, but as soon as dark colors are introduced, the fonts become harder to read.

Somewhere in the darkness there is bright :)

Joey, Radek must of changed something.

Here's a link to the plugin I use: http://hcgtv.net/files/

If you have any further issues, let's use the Nucleus forum.

Some people have quoted Nucleus, so I just thought I'd show my using of it, based on the NUDN skin.

Nice adaptation of the NUDN skin.

I redid my blog using that same skin, no color, just text for now.

Welcome to Nucleus.

Thanks, will give it a try.

Could you direct me in the right direction to create a cpg for Nucleus, similar to the slim down versions that are available for other CMS's.

Thanks.

Thanks for the code, how's the CPG integration going?

I second Quicktime, but we can dream of AVI.

And thus on this day, when fat pipes became abundant, hcgtv was born.

a clan site is like a cms with rankings, match reports and other small stuff

So it's like an online gaming community, ops run gaming servers and a clan are members of this community.

One thing, dark colors and small type make for squinting headaches :)

Thanks for the heads up, posted my thoughts.
