Hey, there is Firefox version for an USB-Stick.
Found it very useful. (Having an own, customized browser at School)

I don't have a USB drive yet but I think I might try this when I get one.  I like the idea of being able to carry around my favorite browser with me!  Thanks for the heads up!

I just tried it twice with different Gmail accounts.  My dads and back to my own and it worked fine.

Sorry for the mixup... PunBB came thru with flying colors!

I changed my email address here on the punBB forums to my new email address at gmail.  The forum sent me a link to click on at my new email address.  When I clicked on it inside Gmail I was taken to a page on the forum that said the link was either incorrect or had expired.... but upon viewing my profile the email address was changed to the new one.

I browsed thru the Bug Reports and didn't see anything like this reported... I hope its not a repeat or perhaps just a glitch with the way Gmail links are made???

I started cracking up when I saw how Microsoft is trying to combat Firefox's new community at www.spreadfirefox.com.

They created a link from their home page called SUPER SURFER.  Then it takes you to the IE Community.  Well when clicking on the IE User #1 Most Popular Newsgroup link notice all the garbage these people are going thru.... it is hilarious and sad at the same time!

Check it out here.

How can a newsgroup like that be good for IE????  You got me!  roll

If you do, it means I'm buying a Ferrari! big_smile

So, evidently you don't already have a Ferrari?

I thought everyone had at least one! smile

Well.. PunBB++ isn't avaible for download atm. Not officially wink

The difference is that PunBB++ comes with many popular pre-installed mods.

Sounds interesting.

Is there any way of getting it before 'official' release? smile

I don't like Opera either.  Way too much fluff.

As far as bugs for Firefox as mentioned earlier.... really there are very few and this thing is still in pre-release.... so how can we complain.

IE 6 is destructive, dangerous, and irritating.

I left off using Outlook for email long ago when I found out that Microsoft made a deal with email advertisers to remove the feature that allowed a person to turn off html email.  I couldn't believe they would ever do such a thing.... but they did!

I have been using Mozilla for my email ever since... and love it.  Eventually I will switch over to Thunderbird... just waiting for it to cook a little longer.

Love that graph!  Long Live Firefox!  Death to IE and M$! :x

Chacmool aka David....

Your awesome!   Thanks for the invite to Gmail.

I was shocked when I saw the invite in my inbox.  Whoah.... Gmail invite! This rocks! .... I thought to myself.

With careful precision I entered my new user name and password... don't screw anything up here Todd!  Upon logging into my account I was initiated as an official Gmail - mark this date 8-25-2004... scribble scribble.

I'm a Gmail insider baby!!! Yeah!!  smile  All thanks to my fellow punbb user Chacmool!

Man, can I get overly dramatic! wink

but it is awesome!!

Firefox 0.9.3 for 99% of my browsing.  Awesome browser... gonna blow IE off the map.... eventually.

IE 6 for testing sites.

Mozilla 1.7 for testing sites.

I think its pretty cool how many of us are using Firefox already.  Word must be getting around at how good it is... at least in the circles we all dwell in.

Extremely intelligent and good-looking people are the kind of circles I am talking about.:)

The more I play with Pun the more I like it.

It's just clean!

While I want to learn PHP and I am reading a couple of books on the subject... I trust the code behind Pun is pretty clean too.  It runs fast and it so simple to administer... its great!

One thing I don't like about Invision Board is how many stickin' options it has in the admin area.... I mean it is trying to do everything.... take the kids to school and water the lawn.  Way more than I need.

I'm a punbber for life! wink

WordPress is the way to go.

http://wordpress.org/

I tried it out just recently... and nothing comes close to how clean it is put together, and how clean the code is that it outputs.

Try it and you probably will stick with it.

One of the developers is a fellow punbb user too.

http://www.alexking.org/

He even wrote a plugin for pun.

I have been using Firefox as my default browser for about 3 months now... and I can say I love it!  I will never go back to IE unless I need to do testing for my web projects... thats it though.

Firefox is just plain awesome.  Gotta love the guys who put it together... they must have Microsoft shaking in their boots!

No you're not. Everybody should have a Gmail, it owns all other webmails I've ever tested! smile

Thanks Chacmool for the vote of confidence.  I have heard so many good things about GMail... I just can't wait to get my hands on an account.

I'm going thru a demo of singapore right now.

I'm looking for the cleanest presentation... although clean code would be great too.

I also need it to be easy to administer since it is for a non-technical user. ( my wife smile )

I'm looking for the best, cleanest, easiest image management script out there. I prefer it use PHP and MySQL. I appreciate any feedback from the community!

Seems to work well.

Are you using a CMS?

Rickard wrote:

I wasn't aware you could have several IE versions installed in parallell. How do you do that?

Im guessing he has more than one machine to test the different version of IE.  I have never heard of a machine having more than one version of IE unless it was a multi-boot machine running different OS.
