Is it possible you create a mod to put this on a OUT FORUM page ??? I find this really better than "last topics" ... a sort of "real time" forum life, more precise ...
Very good stuff.
For me, the only thing which is a problem (and it's OK on 1.2 ... ?) is to "take" the ip of a new member who wants to spam by creating several accounts ... that's all.
For better visibility ... it would be great a layer appears in middle of the screen it's true this very little red sentence is not very easy to see ...

I know it's too late for this version ... but about admin ... I think the top would be to not to separate admin and user ... like coppermine : when in admin mode, coppermine is browsable, but a lot of options appears ...

- prune all messages of this user
- exclude this user
- delete this user
without going by admin interface ... this is only ONE example ... and of course, like coppermine, possibility to switch between admin and user interface ... (no ? and ... FOR FUTURE !!)

I thought you "wanted" a guest did it. Mistake from me (excuse me, I'm French and english and me = 14)
However, google is became the first tool engine of the web ... if on their very simple interface, they invite to download a new browser ... there are a lot of chances to implement it quicky.
But ... but ... why create concurrence against microsoft instead of working of the dev' of Gecko/Mozilla browsers ?

Indeed, all works if I remove this code...
however, I had changed some things in viewtopic.php which are not really in correlation with this mod ... which perfectly worked before ...

Instead of showing simply adress (which can be catched by robots for example), redirect people who want to write with option "always show" to misc.php ??
I have done it on my site, even if I consider guests have not to write to users.

What I won't make in the attachment mod is resizing of images, it can bring down a server to a standstill, and the image quality is often much better if the person who made the image will make it in correct size first.
