je fais un CSS pour tout ce ki est coordonnées, padding, margin ...
et un autre que pour les couleurs : ainsi, en fonction des skins ke je veux faire, c bcp plus pratik ... a lire.
En tout cas PunBB est une veritable clak face aux gros lourdingues de phpBB et VBulletin

oui punBB 1.2 sera valide xhtml mais sera tjs constitué de tableaux : la le punBB de kh0d est absolument grandiose : 0% de table : et le veritable avenir du XHTML est la, et non avec des tables (y compris pour des donnees : puisqu'il est desormais possible avec des LI et via la fonction display:inline d'obtenir des tableaux sans ... table, tr, td ...)

ma version de PunBB : PunkBB est un forum de discussion PunBB modifié en xhtml 1.0 strict sans table.Cette version n'est pas aboutie pour le moment...

Easy to make compatible NS4 site :
realize a site Tableless (anyway NS is so stupid it's not able to ready HTML !!! so xhtml ...), use the function @import url (in CSS) : all new browser read it, but NS 4 not : if the site is good well coded, under NS4, it will degrade well (but it will not very pretty : but STOP TO THINK backward compatibility with very bad browsers : when I began, my sites were more compatible HTML 4.01 in NS3 than NS4 ... NS4 was the great error of the history of browsers)
Only incompatible things done by bad coders ...

To "force" ... people to have Firefox (the best for me : I have all to test my site : Lynx (yes !!), Mozilla, Opera 7, IE 6 (I hate it, finally) ...
It would be great all app's like punBB put on their site "Download Firefox" (I'll put on my site) ... and a tutorial to explain why it's better (and free !!!)
Firefox and Opera has several years in advance about xHTML ... and I see the code of Pun to do all the site TABLELESS ... it's quite hard ('cause CORE CODE and TEMPLATE CODE are together ...) but I think it's the best solution : with UL LI, DD DT and of course, DIV ... the site will be FASTER (is it possible ? Yes : I have done test on my future version of site : My CINEMA page TABLE > 94 ko / TABLESS > 12 ko ... )
And a great option ...

MPG or AVI are too heavy for the web : maybe in USA everybody has T1 or T3, in France, ADSL "begins" to be everywhere ... and speedup is not that
Real is the best compromission ... and I develop' my script only for Real and Quicktime (MPG !!! waouh)
Rickard : continue you do Your forum is great because it's simple, and ... all projects I have seen on SF, a day ... die ... your forum is young, you have under listening about users, and it's the most important ...
From my part, I'm working on a tableless template (indeed, why use table tr td ? dd dt are suffisant, and code better) ...
Remember : PUNBB will be never (and it's perfect) a big dinosaur like Vbulletin or PhpBB : punBB is fast 'cause there are no gadgets !!!

Apache and .htacess emulate you have sub folders ... and you have to think about that (images, css ... all in ABSOLUTE PATH, and it's not very cool to upgrade : all paths change !!!) ...
Maybe it's possible to take all a forum with RSS ? no ? (and in this case, your forum will still /forum but resultats could be displayed in forum.php) ?

The ban detects only domain.com so ... it's not 1 user I ban, but ALL the users who have the SAME domain.com
