"Weaker country"

Omg.. rofl!

Stop bombing other countries and they may stop harrassing you ;)

What do you mean? Like windows would be a better OS than Linux? I'm confused :P

PunBB is in my opinion the best forum software avaible, of course it depends on what you're going to use it for, and it's free too.

No problem, just curious.  I'll go ahead and try 1.1.5.  If the upgrade is a pain I can always just delete it (saving the DB) and start over.

That will probably be the only way to upgrade since there will be many changes in the source. But an upgrade script for the db will be included in the release.

Except that he didn't write the clean markup for 1.2, Paul did. :)

Should work if SP2 doesn't make IE even worse, mess with your webserver or database, and are screwing up your computer so it can't boot ;)

Or randomly deletes files on your harddrive.

Im not sure though ;)

What's so special about it?

I'm not to keen on using javascript. Maybe we should go with a table?

I think the current information is enough.

Yes, phpBB is using the same sort of ReadMe.

The only problem with hdiff that I've encountered is that when you copy many rows from the html-file, you also get all the line numbers...

Yes. Is there anyway to fix that?

I've been thinking about the mod-readme standard lately and I've seen some people using hdiff insted. There is both positive and negative things with that.

Hdiff:
+ Easy and fast to generate
- Can be confusing for a newbie to understand
- Holds very little information about the mod
? Is there anyway to include database changes?

The old standard:
+ Very easy to understand
+ The "header" holds very much info about the mod
- A real pain to make

Should we consider making the hdiff standard? Or maybe a modified version of it?

Discuss here

Im thinking of making some diff->ReadMe style converter. Anyone interested in such tool?

No, there is no release date yet. It will be released when it's finished.

Yes, it will be easy to upgrade.

Well.. A free version isn't illegal right? But if you are talking about a cracked version, then you won't find it here.

You have to add "Alpha 1" into the version array in 11_to_115_update.php

Det är nog "Base URL" som är fel. Kolla upp den i Admin->Options

*cough* Gentoo *cough* Portage *cough* ;D

I found a bug, don't know if it's fixed or I done something wrong with the install. In edit.php, even if the post isn't the topic post, the "Edit poll" checkbox is visible. I fixed it with this code:

line 170

if(($pun_config['o_polls'] || $cur_user['status'] > 0)                // Polls allowed OR user is moderator or admin
            && (!$cookie['is_guest'] || $pun_config['p_guests_poll']) && $is_topicpost){ // AND NOT guest OR Guest allowed to post polls AND is topic post
        $checkboxes .= "\n\t\t\t\t".'<br><input type="checkbox" name="showpoll" onClick="change(this);" tabindex="'.($cur_index++).'"> '.$lang_poll['EditPostPoll'];
    }

Well.. It's on a webhosting service (middleground) so there shouldn't be anymore downtime.

The project part is considered stable. But the style part isn't written yet. I will wait for 1.2.

It wouldn't hurt if you posted it on punres.org ;)
