Isn't that just one of them features that PunBB is made to be without? =P

PunBB Resource? =)

I'm working as much as I can with the new server and PunRes (yes, PunRes 2.1 is on it's way ;)). But I'm suffering from a stomach disorder which slows things down :/

I'd recommend making the front page a lot smaller. It takes ages to load for me. As I'm writing this, the front page has no less than 730 KB images. It also has Java applets, javascripts and an embedded Anastasia video! What's up with that? :)

Don't forget the evanescense video ;)

Yeah.. I don't think theres any way of doing that in real javascript.

No, it renders fine at 640x480 without horizontal scrolling.

Well.. Yeah, but then there is to little space in my opinion

- you can use b, u, i, url, img, etc buttons easily like phpBB and more. whenever you click a button, it will be inserted to current cusor position. phpBB has it at the last position. so mine is more useful I think.

Does that works in all browsers? In that case, it would be nice to see a code example :)

That CMS system is looking nice :)

The screenshot link is broken

Have you tried debug mode? It gives you good information about queries.

Yeah, but that means I'll have to get access to the server first, which is down. But hopefully it will work later or tomorrow, and I can take a look at it then.

Well.. I don't really know what bamsefar is doing for the moment (he's hard to contact). I will change server, but theres at least 2 month to that. I hope you guys can wait that long. It's online most of the time at least.

But if anyone got any good suggestions on what to do until then, I'd happy to share them :)

I have set up a subdomain http://www.punres.post21.co.uk with ftp access and one mysql database. Its yours if you want somewhere to park punres. If you want it let me know and I will email you the ftp login etc.

The problem is that PunRes is connected to Cactuz Network which means that it requires much more work to move and databases.

Ooh.. Hehe ;)

Mostly bugfixes I think

There is one thing about miniBB I and my forum users really like and that's the ability to display a list of 10 (or 15, or 20 etc.) latest replied-to topics on the main forum page (see example here.) Is there any way to have this kind of mod in punBB?

I believe extern.php does something like that.

Yes, I know. It's an SQLite problem. It works like that. But the version bundled with php 5 didn't.

What exactly are the changes over v1.1 ?

Changelogs

Which php version do you use? There is different versions of sqlite in them so the sqlite support only works with php 5 beta 2. Rickard has written another sqlite class for 1.2 though. I think that one works better. Only problem is, it's not released yet ;)
