You can take the code from the 1.3 url_rewrite.php, make a few changes and use it in functions.php.

Need the htaccess aswell.

viewforum looks a mess when using a fixed width. Hard to tell the urls apart from the text.

I am now officially cool.

http://www.ajeepthing.com/forum/ Doesn't exist.

First create a database using your hosts control panel, note down the db name, user and password.

Then use your FTP program to create a /forum folder in your web space. Upload all the PunBB files that are inside the /upload folder to /forum.

Then run install.php and follow the instructions..

You need to create a few seperate files. Create header2.php and main2.tpl from the originals.

Make the sidebar changes to those files.

Then edit header2.php so it uses the main2.tpl and edit index.php so it loads header2 and not header.php.

What browser are you using? Works fine for me.

Yes, try here - http://punbb.org/forums/search.php

You need to give the BODY/HTMl 100% height aswell.

For it to work in FireFox i think you need to also need to use 'min-height: 100%;'

You had Punbb.org open longer than the visit timeout, so when you returned, all the posts were marked as read.

Why have you created a seperate directory? Why not just upgrade to 1.2.7?

Your host should have phpMyAdmin installed, use that for restoring the database.

Open extern.php and the intructions are in there.

I meant things like Easy BBCode. That used to be on there. My memory is poor.

You may have seen the 'Mod Releases' forum at PunRes which notifies you of the latest mods.

And at the top of the page you'll see a link to the Projects.

http://www.punres.org/browse.php?show=projects

Open your eyes...

The mods are hidden over at http://www.punres.org/ but Rickard has released a few official ones that can be found on the downloads page.

Not sure what the DB plugin does, do you have a backup of the entire forum ? Just import that.

The patch is for 1.2.6 > 1.2.7 so you are best off just downloading the complete 1.2.7

Why not just remove the folder altogther?

If you don't want to do that, use .htaccess :

RedirectPermanent /index.html http://www.atvforums.net/punnBB/index.php

Well your FTP shouldn't delete the existing files. Have a browse of the settings.

You have to download and run the 12_to_127_update.php file.

isnt there a page built in to delete the database?

No. Just go to your hosts control panel.
