Thats what I was thinking of doing... I would have to be careful though and make sure I don't leave the boards open to attack hmm

Thanks for the input guys so far smile

What server have you installed?

What would you guys think of a site which had all of the major bulletin boards installed and had admin panel access(with certain features obviously restricted), so that people new to the BB world could have a hands on experience before installing?

I have had some positive feedback from some people I know... just wanted your general feedback as well smile

This feature is where at the bottom of the reply page posts from the topic you are replying to are listed. Its quite useful sometimes, and is limited to a certain amount of posts...

I don't desperately wanted it, just thought it might be a useful addition. I use it on other pieces of forum software...

its quality tv when that happens wink

In most cases it isn't a dissapointed "oh" though... amusingly, they start to attack the valuer and demand that they value it at a higher price tongue

The funniest parts on the Antiques Roadshow are when people bring in items which they think are worth a fortune, and have driven hundreds of miles to get it valued... only to find its worth absolutely nothing.

muahah smile

wrong. anyone can be a webmaster; the "willing to do tedious work part" is what dedicated webmasters do wink

Hm. I prefer to leave footers in... its a bit nasty giving the author no visible credit hmm

As for hacking that page? Hacking is a bad thing hmm

You are allowed to delete the footer if you want, though Rickard prefers it if you don't. Your not allowed to delete the embedded HTML tags though.

How about a drop down list for the listing of moderators on index.php, rather than a list of them in normal links?

Would have thought so tongue
