Looks very nice indeed. Why not go the whole way and use CSS to change the ScrollBar colours to the frozen theme?
Also, how did you get the header "Forum-Trådar-Inlägg-Senaste inlägget-Moderatorer" to fade downwards?

Schwuchtel
Es ist mir Wurst
I don't think so - I run one off Lycos and it gets quite a few hits without problems..
Well it works on mine..
Any chance of translating the four phrases from the first post?
Thanks. Any more anyone?
I was wanting to make some sort of International Discussion thing for my visitors, much like for the PunBB's own.
Basically I'm looking for translations of:
"[Language] Discussion"
"Please speak only in [Language]"
"Test"
"These forums are now in your language too!"
In:
German
French
Dutch
Russian
Swedish
Finnish
Danish
I have my domain name set up so that it redirects to PunBB forums on some other webspace.
It's redirecting to something like this: "http://forums.mywebspace.com/" - with the trailing slash being necessary for the redirect script to accept.
But when I goto www.mydomain.com the CSS script seems to be lost - the page loads with just the text and no style sheet, and the links don't goto anywhere.
But if I just go straight to "http://forums.mywebspace.com/" the page loads fine without any functionality problems. Then, if I were to stick "index.php" on the end of that link, the page has the same problems as above.
Any ideas?
Could you give an example of when you may need this?
I think it would be pretty messy TBH - isn't a "sub forum" just a new topic
I'll stop arguing, you know where I stand
Vote YES on User-time-change :x
Well concessions have been made to change the whole of PunBB for a specific language. Seems like concessions for a date format could be possible.
What is the date format in Taiwan?
Doesn't have to be a radio button. Why not a dropdown that uses the current time/date, so the dropdown would have:
16/11/2003 22:06
2003/11/16 22:06
11/16/2003 22:06
Because I'm from England. A place where things are done in two ways:
The English Way
The wrong way

Or why not just a simple radio-checkbox with the option to select between the two most common, YMD and MDY ?
I think UK users prefer d-M-Y, its how I'd like it anyway

I've changed my mind. I probably won't add this. The only simple solution to the problem from a developers point of view is having the user enter the date/time format string himself in the profile, but I think that's a little too much to ask from a regular visitor.
But if theres a default in the text box such as "Y-M-d" then surely a User can understand what to change.
And if the user doesn't understand then they can leave it.
If they manage to balls it up then there can always be a "Revert to Default" function couldn't there?
Would it be possible to have the Admin option of producing "User Stats". That is, a file is created that ranks users by number of posts/threads started/threads closed(for Mods)/highest lurkers(page view without post) etc.
It doesn't have much of a use which may make it un-PunBBish, but its a nice cosmetic function that could be interesting for any decent sized community. Could also serve as a way of trimming the fat.
KUTGW!

Nice logo.
Its very bright. You continentals!
Well I'm English, but I'm going to University to study German. Last week I did my work experience in Simbach, a town in Bavaria on the Austrian border.
Also, servus!
I expect my cheque to be in the post soon then
Whats the longest you have left it for? Shouldn't it timeout after while?
*Salutes*
Thank you
I just had the idea of a website that uses PunBB forums... its all a little hazy in my head.
But if it's possible to do "Recent Discussions" on the website then it would also be possible, surely, to do some kind of ticker of recent discussions?
I'm pretty poor at programming, and can just about cope in DW. It'd be nice to use the ol' marquee thing in HTML. Haven't used that since like 1996 when everyone had a marquee across their page "Welcome to Joe Westhead's Site" scrolling across your screen in size 72 font letters.
Anyway, I digress. The only problem I can think of is making it refresh. Using my limited knowledge, there are 2 options:
1)Let it refresh when the user refreshes/navigates a page on the website.
2)Have it refresh on a time basis?
Cheers,
Joe

And now they are down
Well Joe, I make that 23 hours and 3 minutes of happiness. You have used up your entire bliss quota for November.
Actually they went down about 2 hours after going up.
There are lots of host companies offering Free hosting for PHP & have MySQL databases.
Trouble is, I don't know what the heck I'm doing. Would anyone be willing to upload files to relevant places & help me get set up?
