It doesn't work for me either. I have 1024x768, too. I don't see how, but maybe it has to do something with the bold text...

This should be pretty easy to do as an extension. You have to check for the request URL and set the variable $base_url accordingly.

The guest language thing should be possible with that, too. Do you need any coding help?

Pleeeaaase allow some more folders to be downloaded from, like the styles and the extensions folder etc.

Thanks

I will update my extension "Deleted Posts Log" soon.

It is a FluxBB extension, but I heard rumors that they should be compatible wink

BTW I know about http://www.punbb-hosting.com/ and may try it but for now I'm using SF.net (the no-write thing for its webspace DOES add a nice level of security which we need).

That service uses FluxBB wink

@anatoly:

Hint: Nice tutorial, but it's not manifex.xml neither manifest.php, but manifest.xml

You should edit it.

So what is going to happen now?

They're not even moderating anymore... (as in deleting posts that say "move to FluxBB")

Is anybody going to try to keep developing this?

It would also be interesting to know why their titles are now "PunBB Developer (on leave)".

Is it useful to start translating FluxBB already?

Try asking that at FluxBB.org...

You must be kidding. You should really be using the latest version.

What? Is PunBB going to use Paul's markup, too?

Why isn't the trac wiki available for "normal" users?

Why would that be needed?

I wrote a little tutorial here:

I suppose you could build up a useful extension "Extension Info" showing extension hooks' details.

I am not quite sure what you mean with that comment. Sorry roll

You can just keep developing that extension. I don't really care...

Check out Franz's PunHooks site, especially the hooks page.

Cool. You seem to be the only one who likes it wink

Just to let you know, I think some of the ideas on your site is great, I don't really like the idea of another separate site, I think this page is great though http://lie2815.heliohost.org/sys/projec … =bbcodebar

I could sell the idea to you wink
You can add it to the fluxbb homepage, if you want...

Sorry but this is all getting a bit confusing. Where do you go for support, at what domain, in what forum?

What for? For this extension? I think it isn't needed anymore. One can use the official one. If nothing changes, I won't be developing anything for PunBB anyways...

hcgtv wrote:

What do you plan on doing with PunHooks?

As nobody is using it (and I see know that it doesn't make that much sense...), I will delete it in a few days...

Is this the same as the pun_bbcode extension?

If yes, it is the other way around wink
Change it if you want...

Yeah: Great! So PunBB basically copied FluxBB's code "for compatibility reasons"?
Congrats! Great work!

Uhmmm... I will look at it.

Wow. I was gone for a long weekend, I come back and now I see this.
I am really sorry for what happened to PunBB. I doubt anybody had bad plans, but what is happening now is just sad. I am sorry for Rickard and all the others, but it seems like he has done a big mistake and this is very hard...
I love PunBB and it's idea, but it lost a lot of that by being sold and moving to the subdomain. I hope FluxBB will still be what PunBB meant to be.

I will probably move with (almost the whole) community, but I am not sure yet...

Why is the work on 1.3 progressing so slowly?
All the time you hear something like "The parser is going to be rewritten" or "Paul is going to do a big commit very soon" but nothing happens...

Are the devs not able to find this page anymore since it moved to the subdomain???

I thought I could do that and it wasn't an official extension?

post_draft?
You can do that with the Deleted Posts Log...

Nobody likes my extensions... sad wink
