No, that's an option for YOUR avatar.
There's an option under Display called "Show user avatars in posts."

After converting, did you set yourself as admin? The conversion tool usually lets you do that when it finishes

There isn't a switch for it if memory serves, your mod was probably applied incorrectly.

There is no plan to allow you to "upload" an avatar from a URL, although there are existing mods and there will undoubtedly be one for 1.3
We are also going to have list BBCode. All of the ones you listed though can be added via mods.

1. 1.3 already contains fulltext support for MySQL(i)
2. SEF URLs are again part of 1.3
3. Is useless if adapted on a wider scale, since the hash can be precalculated by the bot.

1.3 is not even in an alpha state yet, which is why it's only in SVN. So no, it is not ready for production usage
I would be curious to know what options don't disable though, since I can't think of any that don't off the top of my head.

My suggestion in any case would be just to comment out the lines that refer to mysql_free_result, since it appears the host has some trouble with it (I managed to find another site with a difference piece of software with the same issue on free.fr using Google).

Mmm, how odd. I was getting an error about the quickjump cache file. I'm not now though.
I don't think the issue is too much data.
Could you do me a favor and paste a copy of footer.php?
