Hmm... no, I haven't had the time to look it up! May it be caused from the conversion from phpbb to punbb? All bans were made in phpbb and was exported to punbb with the "phpbb to punbb"-script that can be found on the download page.

Re: Add ranks/statuses (5 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 discussion)
I would like to have atleast one more moderator status that would only have access to "reports" and to be able to delete and edit posts and have no access to the admin control panel.

Re: Add ranks/statuses (5 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 discussion)
hmm... then I mean statuses
Since 1.2 won't come in another 2-3 months (maybe) and my forum needs moderators I will probably do this. There aren't many features in 1.2 that I need (except user groups then).
Is it really that hard to make new statuses? I can change the current system so the ADMINS get status 20, and then I have to change the php-files and after that I should be able to make 19 statuses (status 1-19) in between there.
Have you got any tips for me?

Is there an explanation somewhere how to add more ranks/statuses? I can surely do it myself, but it would probably be safer if I could read somewhere how to do it so I don't forget anything. And if there isn't; can someone just list the things that has to be changed?
Or is the easiest way to just search the forum files for $cur_user["status"] and change everything you find there?
EDIT: spelling

The members don't seem to be able to post messages to the admins. They get the error "their inbox is full". The messages was converted from phpbb to punbb with your convert script. I (admin) can send messages to myself though!

Re: "banned email" mails (10 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 bug reports)
Yes, I get emails about email addresses that aren't banned.
"You know about the setting "Allow banned e-mail addresses" in admin/permissions right?"
Shouldn't have to use it since the emails addresses that i get mails about aren't banned...

Topic: "banned email" mails (10 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 bug reports)
It looks like I get an email whenever a user is registered on the forums. At first I thought it was only @hotmail.com addresses, but when I got a mail with a notification that a xxxx@gmail.com address also had registered with a banned email I see it's a bug! Have two emails banned (both hotmail), some IP numbers and one member.

<span style="color: red">Test</span>
hmmm... okidoki. I tried <font color="FF0000">Text</font> and that didn't work =/
To give different moderator groups different rights shouldn't be too hard to make, so I really think it would be great to have it in 1.2! You click the group name and in there you can change the settings for that particular group... You don't have to make 1 new menu in the admin control panel for each group you know...
About the color thingy... Not so hard to make myself, so I won't die if you won't waste your time on it
About the profile and that you should be able to read it as well as update it: can't you make a link with "show profile" in the "update profile" site then? It's sweet to be able to read the members profiles and not just read it in the textareas etc.

Topic: Groups in 1.2 (5 replies, posted in Feature requests)
Right now all moderators have access to the admin panel (although it's fewer alternatives for mods than for admins there). I have 2 different moderators on my site: 1 group that are moderators for the whole site and 1 group that are just moderators for a specific forum and is only supposed to delete and move posts and also tell members that acts irresponsible that hey are doing something that isn't legal on our forum.
Well, in group 1 I have 2 mods that I want to have full access to the moderatos admin control panel and 3 mods that shouldn't be able to access the moderator control panel at all (accept from editing users and view reports). Group 2 shouldn't have access to the moderator control panel at all (not editing users or anything! Just have the ability to delete, move etc posts in one or several specific forums).
I also have 2 users in group 1 that shall have access to the ADMIN forum, but the rest of the moderators in that group shall not be able to view it! And I would also like to be able to choose if the rest of the moderators should be able to view the moderator forum or if only some of them should.
Will I find those functions in 1.2 or do I have to make them myself? I do think other admins would like to have those functions aswell! Sure I understand you think a moderator should be able to moderate the whole forum, but I don't think everyone needs to be able to do that! Sometimes you just need someone to look for bad posts.
I would also like admins and moderators to be displayed in different colors/bold on the "online list" on the front page of the forum.
Another thing that would be nice is if the moderators and admins could get a link "edit user" in the profiles instead of just viewing the "update form" every time you open a profile.
A bug or something: you can't change color to the announcement text right now either! I can make the text bold with HTML, but can't change the color of it.

aaah, thx!
Ther's one problem thought You have included 2 files of every file! There's one copy of each in the zip file and another copy in the "phpbb" map in the zip file. How come? Do I have to upload it all?

my own
using a while-loop to transport all content from the phpbb fields to the punbb fields.

Re: crypted password (9 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
OK, I have encounterd a small problem! I get this message when I try to convert the ser database:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in KONVERTERA-FORUM.php on line 37
I have got that sort of message before, but can't remember how I solved it.
Can it be that phpBB's fields in the user database is of other types? For example phpBB's ID field is INT(10) while punBB's ID field is mediumint(8).
