Please can someone advise, getting more and more junk here

Try using these extensions aswell:

Stopforumspam.com

and send me any offending posts so I can add their URLs to the database for the extension URL Checker

thanks hcs....

would you be able to add the option of submitting user to stopforumspam.com ;
similiar as to how a member posted here
Ideally there would be a link next to remove labeled Submit2SFS or so....

Sorry for getting back so late....
It didn't progress so I'm glad you had a go at a solution for submitting to sfs directly!

PS:
A user registers, I check the profile and see a spam signature
--> I think it would be good to have a link below Current signature labeled Submit to SFS
that would then submit and delete the user...

Thanks, also added it to PunBB Extensions Wiki

True, but it's always good to have any easy to use Plan B ...

Also it might been good to have a way of querying for spammers email addresses via both services, as I often find an offenders email addy has already been flagged to one of the services....

Just noticed that stopforumspam.com has been down for several hours, maybe it would be good to have this botscout querying as backup ... when the other site is down?

Starting to think informer is bust and no employees left tbh !

Have you tried updating to 1.2.23 , then to 1.3.4?

I have the same problem, suddenly when i move posts from a topic to another it doesn't put them anymore in order by date/time; it puts them at the end of the topic and makes a mess. Anyone have any ideea?

It was probably done on purpose, like that anyone following that topic you move the post to, can easily answer it. Otherwise the post will be somewhere in the middle, harder to find?

Anyone can contact all community? or directly the informer staff?

I've tried contacting the informer staff on several occassions in the last 2 weeks, no response...

The most likely option here would be to put together a team and try to make a deal with Informer, whereby you as a team/community are responsible for the development and maintenance of the software - but Informer maintain control of the brand and copyrights.

Probably will be best idea, if no action is taken on behalf of informer.

The current admin is KeyDog. I'm not sure if there's a mod here which will assist him to do that.

I'm a moderator with admin rights currently. Slavok and alexp are the ones with full admin rights serverside and developers.

I don't know if you guys need it, and I didn't know where to post it.

Good stufff. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe people installing the dutch language pack, will find it via this thread aswell

http://punbb.informer.com/forums/topic/ … uage-pack/

It reminds me we probably need
a)  a wiki page or something with all extension translations....  and/or
b) a system that will pull translations - if available - directly into the extension via a repository.... IF the language is activated in the forum installation

PS: any other extensions you translate the language files for - just publish to this thread... for the moment

Maybe post this request/bug fix in the respective extension release threads...
Thx.

The only issue I found on this extension on PunBB Informer page is that you havn't installed the OxygenMobile theme

I just noticed I can't upload to the style folder here at PunBB - don't know why... some rights issue . Will have to check with alexp or Slavok.

Thanks ....

By the way... I have a chrome punbb tab open on another screen.... and that hasn't updated in at least 10min... even though there are new posts....

Any ideas why that would be? is it on a IP basis? so if I'm looking at 3 pcs 3 punbb forums will it stop updating them if one is updated?

Next on the todo list is viewforum and then I could add active topics page

Great!  maybe you can make them all ON/OFF set-able... independtly...
but the auto refresh works well here already on index.... doesn't seem to slow down....

did you notice any speed issues of site loading etc?

(38 replies, posted in PunBB 1.3 extensions)

OK thanks, it's re-activated.

Edit: Very nice - just one thing....
I wrote a test message (in chrome) and posted it.
In firefox window behind the chrome I nearly immediately saw update (so  brilliant that's working!)
BUT no sound?
what could be issue?

Edit 2: I haven't test this; but for my purposes a tab open with "active topics" and your ext updating that would be my perfect solution.... (if you have a long index page like here, it's not as easy to keep up with new topics as it is with active topics page) and with a beep....  is that do-able?
