Nothing at all really.

One of the examples given is

include('http://host.com/forums/extern.php?action=active');

If you use this code on your site and dont change the example host.com. You get an advert page and it also has pop-ups.

Like I said... nothing at all really. But thought I would mention it.

Has this fix been applied on PunBB (here)?

Just do the following (this might not be how Rickard corrects the issue, this is a temporary fix):

include/functions.php
FIND

$destination_url = str_replace(array("\r", "\n", '%0a', '%0d', ';'), '', $destination_url);

REPLACE WITH

$destination_url = str_replace(array("\r", "\n", '%0a', '%0d', ';data:'), '', $destination_url);

Apart from sponsoring the project, they wanted to later down the line offer paid-for web services in relation to PunBB (for example commercial grade PunBB hosting).

Instead of an example for what they might do maybe you could give us some facts for what they will do. Unless you sold the rights to PunBB without actually knowing the intentions of this company. Which I doubt....

Dont get me wrong.. if this speeds up PunBB and improves PunBB then I am all for it. I just have my doubts. sad

A comment on this would be aprreciated... Its a pretty simple question. You was very vague on what this new holder wants to do.

So I suppose my next question would be... are you holding out on us again? Will another announcment be made soon after 1.3 that people will not like or did you sell it without knowing there TRUE intentions.

I will leave my comments until after 1.3 is released. Have one question though.

What is double posts? What are you going on about?

Am I missing something here.

Link - Code - Shall I go on??

Why outside of punwrap? its a wrap for PunBB.

@matt
Yes you have done it before. Shame the way you done it before you have to click on the flash to activate it. wink

2. Ok cheers for having a quick look. As usual I cannot seem to replicate the problem... tongue I will keep an eye on it though. I am starting to use google search via the site: command. It works good.

3. The only reason I mentioned it is because the last few blogs was within a month of each other. It would be nice for just a small blog occasionaly mentioning any milestones completed. big_smile

4. I think the categories would be the better idea.

I agree. I have 2 sites using that mod and 1 site using the Poll + mod which is working fine.

I would also appreciate these 'millions' of bugs you have found. wink

1.
Why has donations been stopped?
You all have that much money that even a donation is not needed these days???

2.
What is wrong with the search page?
I search for something and it says no results, even though the same search will bring back many results 5 minutes later. mootools.net suffers with this problem as well. Its quite annoying at times.
By the way... its not word specific.

3.
Further to this topic 'When will PunBB 1.3 be released?'. I am more interested in why the last update in the blog was 19th March? Does this mean that so little work has been done between March and now (Sept) that no need for ANY updates AT ALL. Or was it one of those things that sounded good at the time...

4.
How is punbb (forum) going to integrate the new version when it finally arrives. More curious than anything.... I am on about the support and forum side of things. Because people will still be using 1.2 for a fair amount of time so I am guessing support for it will not stop instantly.... Well... unless its Microsoft PunBB lol. So how is the (punbb) site going to handle the 2 versions when it happens?

It will return... wink but for new punbb.

to log out you want to put a link to "login.php?action=out&id=2"

That will logoff the user with an id of 2.

This is more like it.

<a href="login.php?action=out&id=<?php echo $pun_user['id'] ?>">Log Out</a>

I guess...
"And when I follow that link, to take me to the <Log in> pannel, and after I logg in... to be redirected to the place where I pushed <reply> or <new post> and not to the index page."

Lastly, stop using public/semi-public torrent sites as they suck.

Erm... stop using all torrent sites. Newsgroups holds everything a person could ever need.

Note: T'internet is a great invention... only with super fast broadband.

Its

$user_data['msn']

if your talking about on the userlist.php page.
