Don't worry about that, it'll be gone in 1.3 anyway (or atleast that's what I read).

I remember reading and posting on that thread where Rickard was asking about that button combination to submit.  I really like it myself...I guess I'm just gonna have to take my hands off the keyboard and use my mouse sad

hhhmm....alt+shift+s does work, but it's a little akward to hit all 3 buttons at once.

What release notes you talking about?  wink

Ack...anyone noticed this or have a solution for it?

I love the ability to use Alt-S to submit my post in PunBB.  Just love it.  With FireFox 2.0 though, Alt-S is now mapped to the History button in the toolbar.  Is there a way I can untie that map so I can submit my posts in PunBB (and other forums for that matter) without having to touch my mouse?

So I've always used FireFox in the past for obvious reasons...but I do have to admit that even though you can skin it and do everything neat with it...a part of me has never liked FireFox a lot. I hated Netscape and FireFox and looks and reminds me too much of Netscape. Naturally so I suppose...

So what do you all think of IE 7 so far? Does it even have a chance to compare with security measures or is still a candle under the bonfire of light that FireFox provides?  I've been looking for an alternative browser to FireFox for a long time now just because I have never liked the feel of it. *shrugs*

Edit:  Oh...and Opera has it's own issues that I am not fond of...it displays some css and other coding differently than IE or FireFox does and I've ran in to issues with it on other websites that I was never fond of.

Wow...I like the way that's all integrated with the google maps.  Nicely done.

Interesting.  I had no idea that they came up with a name and webpage for personalized sigs...ahahaha.  That's ironically awesome.

A Userbar is a small image that is usually put in signatures, like Helter's, or in a lesser extend, mine.

Sooooo...it's a signature picture? Why is it called a userbar? I've never heard of any pic in someone's sig called that before.

I never knew Rickard had an extension for FireFox out there...which one is it and what's it do?

Just two very simple ones:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1472/
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1478/

Nice.  The clipboard save as feature is very handy.

Now, if only they would fix this, I would be a happy camper. HttpOnly cookies are a great idea. In short, it means that if you set a HttpOnly cookie, you can't access the contents of that cookie via client side scripting. This essentially makes cross site scripting useless.

Rickard need to update his extension...i can't handle copy, paste and go any more..... ERRRR!

I just did. They're just waiting on approval at addons.mozilla.org. pogenwurst, hurry big_smile

Edit: Just saw this in the e-mail I got reminding me to update my extension:

As an extra incentive, we're planning on sending a limited edition "Bon Echo" ExtensionTeam shirt to each and every extension developer who validates their extensions for Firefox 2 with an update posted to addons.mozilla.org by midnight pacific time on Sunday, October 1st 2006.

How will they send it to me? They don't have my address?

Not sure about others, but that red text on the grey background is pretty difficult to read.  Other than that, it looks nice.

Can anyone link me to a punbb install that is using this so I can see what it does or is that not possible without being an admin?

Thanks Smarty.

Trillian basic, which is free, works real good with ICQ.

Yes it does, but my friends and I all pitched in and registered Trillian so our GTalk would work through it.  Trillian is just awesome.

ICQ is the way to go.  My number is 13699897.  (I wish more people still used ICQ)

You use any IM client at all?

I get this error as well...and I still have that same error I initially emailed you about Smarty.  You on MSN or anything right now that we could talk a little?

Curious, but I accidentally added a FULLTEXT bit to my database.  So I had two...

1) pm_message_idx
2) message

Which one is it supposed to be?  Can anyone tell me?

Er...wow.  LOL.  *knocks himself in the head a few times*

Yeah..something like that.  That wasn't the site I was thinking of...but wow.  ahahaha.  Thanks man big_smile

The other day, I came across a link to a site here on PunBB where someone had a miniportal setup and they had a column on the right side. I'd really like to find this site again.  Does anyone know of that site or any site with a 3rd column to the right that was posted within the last week or so on PunBB?  I don't think it was posted in the show off section...

When I loaded your index page, all I got was a white page with some of the words on it and that was it.  No forums or design or layout...anything.

But who to code it?  If I knew enough php, then I would be all over it, but that's not me wink

ahaha.  Suspend would be a cool function though.  I frequent the Penny Arcade Forums and the mods there have an ability to "jail" someone.  It changes their avatar and strips their posts of BBCode so they can't do pics and other stuff. Would be neat if PunBB someday did that...I was secretly hoping that the "suspension" that the "Matrix" (ahaha..couldn't resist) listed was something similar.

According to that Matrix thing, PunBB can suspend, ban and ban IP's for users. What is a suspension?  I've never noticed anything anywhere to suspend someone.  Just ban and IP ban.
