I doubt if there is a sub forum feature with pun1.2,if you are with "sub forum" modification or plugin,i didn't suggest you uprade 1.3

punbb could works with firefox. if your client couldn't work,just clear all private data.

after i choose Encoding from web browser , change Display encoding to "ISO 88591" or any other western code,then the blank gone,but my chinese page display uncorrectly..(now my page is set to UTF-8, in main.tpl)

you should disabel global "link display or image display". then just add "http" to your spamword lists.

im running a 1.2 forum for years so your probelm i ever experienced.
i just suggeste you install a mod named "spamword" from punres.org
then just copy the keyword of theses spam content,paste to your "spamword" list. so any posts with these keywords could not been even posted.
