You might be better off asking over at the Crystal support. I have never used this program, and never used Tsql.

Sorry.

Looking on the GNU GPL website, there is no references of theft, however I think that might be because you cant steal something which is free.

Developers who write software can release it under the terms of the GNU GPL. When they do, it will be free software and stay free software, no matter who changes or distributes the program.

The GPL:

* the freedom to use the software for any purpose,
    * the freedom to change the software to suit your needs,
    * the freedom to share the software with your friends and neighbors, and
    * the freedom to share the changes you make.

It dosnt protect software that you dont want anyone else to have.

So its up to you if you want to publicly show the style.. When you go onto your website, some of your images will be saved in the cache, so i have "downloaded" that file, that doesn't mean its illegal.

(This is based on what I understand from reading the site)

all mods will work on 1.2.* You have to change the forum version in the mod, There is a stiky on the forum.

Look over at

Pun root is the root directory of punbb.

So if you wanted files on the main url (hortecta.be)  you want the root code to look like:

if (!defined('FORUM_ROOT'))
    define('FORUM_ROOT', 'site/paginas/');

The Code above is for 1.3. THIS WILL NOT WORK ON 1.2

I Will have a look for intergration of 1.2

Anything developed for punbb is under GPL.... GPL is complicated as there isnt a fine line or rules.

What punbb.org team can do is give you credit?

jamj, You coppied illegaly my own style and even don't changed its name... please delete it, its not for use on other than fluxbb.pl and punbb.tox.pl sites, because colours and headers are my idea.

I havt seen the style he made?

However as far as i know about the GPL lisence and what not, its not illegal for him to do that. Yeah its not fair but not illgal

Hello.

How many modifications have you done? All the mods will work on 1.2.20.

of course you can.. When you make the group (new or edit one) you can chose what they have access to.

Yes they have made a mock up of what it ill look like but you compare it to the current one:

No images in this one ( so no gradients)
No rounded corners ( Images, + JS)
This isn't fixed width..(I didn't buy a 22" wide for nothing you know.

And they dont make punbb any better if they have a diffrent one here.

They all look pointless to be honest... None of them follow the "punbb way" of doing things.

Start by reading and searching the forums!!

And these views are the most adequate, aren't they?

I wouldn t say "most adequate", your views should not be ranked higher just because you are a developer..

I could of replied with in 10 min, however i don't think i should encourage people to use punbb, not because i don't like what you have done, Only because the community. Think about this from a forum admin point of view, if they post at fluxbb, they would get a quick response, however here, it can be a good few days.

Im not saying its your (not you personally) fault but there is no community behind you able to help other members. Only the developers are helping at the moment and you come on when you can.

from what i can see its something to do with the stlyes you have intergrated with punbb. Look in your styles for brdstats

the line causing it is

#sidebarContainer {
    float: left;
}

sidebar_left.css

Good luck. The most your hear is the developers views. The forum is dead as a doornail..Fluxbb is the way to go

no i mean that punbb is using the fluxbb core..

And there have been languange changes to the fluxbb core, so its pointless doing language conversions.

Fluxbb has updated their language packs so there are loads of redundant and new words. so its pointless doing new languages?

Hasnt there been changes to the fluxbb lanage??

this forum pretty much dead wink

pun_bbcode extension. look in the extensiop reppo

You were misinformed i belive...

1.2.* uses <pun_include "*">
1.3.* uses <!-- forum_include "<MY_FILE.php>" -->

If your using 1.2 then you use the one from 1.2

Look like i said im not trying to convince you to go with fluxbb, and if i wanted i could find out what your problem is but there is no point..

All im saying is that if you get stuck while using punbb you will only be helped by developers. There are no other support people here.

PS. There is a Edit button not just a post button.

Im not trying to convince you of anything, chose what you feal is best for you but you can see for yourself, the punbb and fluxbb TRAC:

http://fluxbb.org/trac/timeline

http://punbb.informer.com/trac/timeline

And you can see that a few of the punbb commits are "imported from fluxbb" Punbb is based on fluxbb ( who is based on punbb). You can see that punbb is just using the fluxbb code becuase Fluxbb have the upper hand.

Pun_PM should work on fluxbb beta 2, but there is also an extension for fluxbb: http://punbb.informer.com/trac/timeline

Beta 2 is stable, how ever i woudnt think about using it as a offical forum for your needs, All the code is out dated and is not the latest code.

are you sure your account has database access?

you just have to enter in your host( most cases localhost), your password, your database user name and database password. And you have to create the database..

Looking at the host i dont think you have mysql as it does say (without mysql)...
