but you should be asked to join the developers of punbb - as you seem to have time and expertise, in my opinion... just the kind the project needs....

Contact your host... Either your database is not connected to forum, or your domain is offline...
PS: your topic title was useless (help!!!!) so I changed it and you posted in bug reports when it is clearly troubleshooting (99% nothing to do with php code of forum but hosting issue)

They don't need to type bbcode.... all they need to do is type in a correct url and the parser automatically does the rest!
tick the feature below in settings > features
Allow BBCode parser to detect URLs and put them into url tag.

The closest you can come to it is by using the Daris Portal (unless they publish the code for the "home" page of punbb....)

whose authors aren't active here anymore, or don't react to a bug report for 1.3.4,
I think it's probably a good idea to let those extensions be "adopted" by whoever can and wants to correct it. (keeping orginial author as well as new author in ext info)
That way no good code, or important features are lost...

There's that UBBcode extention that would have been going in the direction - if it worked.
It would be done with javascript.

From evidence on this board it seems that it is not efficient to load the bans list everytime a ban is submitted.
Why? Everytime the list is retrieved with all the users banned since Adam and Eva! - it would be good to paginate or somehow solve this problem, as it is real and imminent.

Slavok, IMO, you should implement this in the out of the box version.
Also this isn't some luxury feature request but a basic need.
It comes closer to a fault in the code than what feature solves, IMO always.
This site, and all the spam registrations (stoppable with extensions Stop Bots questions, Stopforumspam) shows that not enough care is being taken by you - as lead developer - to this forum software.
I'd appreciate a solution! I know you are busy with other things...

Btw, I don't know of any extension that doesn't work on 1.3.4 ... so the distinction of whether it was made and tested on 1.3.2 etc isn't that important, IMO...

once you have installed the extensions you go to
admin/settings.php?section=features
and scroll and activate the extension features....
Setup which actions are protected by a captchaalso in
admin/settings.php?section=registration
it can be usefull to activate

Just had this when trying to approve a guests post, any ideas as to what problem could be?
An error was encountered
The error occurred on line 1539 in /home/.../extensions/pun_approval/functions.php
Database reported: Duplicate entry '17900' for key 'PRIMARY' (Errno: 1062).When I go and look in phpmyadmin I see
first_post_id 17900
last_post_id 17900
It's a guest creating a topic....
EDIT:
I see now that the topic is already approved once and live in the forum, but there's still a topic to approve in pun_approval....
Is it possible this is bug when guest posts a new topic and the topic is approved?
EDIT 2: No, tested it again and working. Maybe the database was playing up or something. Solved.

Try reinstalling all the files to the folder on your assigned server space.
Also make sure you even have mySQL or some db package included...?
If you do and reinstalled a fresh version of 1.3.4 and problem persists - contact your hosting support....

When you edit a post as admin there's a box ticked "silent edit" - if you untick it , you'll see it same as above.
